  1. Got a similar feel to when Taggart was brought in to the coaching set up but we were the absolute pits. Let's hope it works out better for Kingy and he's here for years and years.
  2. I think they do this to me on purpose.
  3. Idea for improving community engagement with the fans. Buskin' with Jon Ruskin. Weekly open mic session down at Seagrave on press conference days. Acoustic songs to sing the lads in and out and see if our head honcho Jon will come and do a chorus at least.
  4. Nyoni, Evans and Monga are all PL destined players. There's many coming through but you wouldn't trust us to getting the benefits 😂😂
  5. Oh this is definitely signs of the hard work and investment that's come with being the most successful club in the midlands in the last decade. We've played the long game rather than throwing millions at the older age groups as well. Just hope we aren't ripped apart as we are now not the club we once were and these talents might be tempted elsewhere. Certainly need to do better to prove we're their best club to come through in to the 1st team.
  6. Evans did sign a contract last summer but not sure if it protects us or not.
  7. Got a lot of time for Jordan, his articles often have me nodding along repeatedly so all good.
  8. By that metric Sunderland shouldn't have been playing Chris Rigg and Birmingham shouldn't have played Jude and Jobe Bellingham. Although the latter is mystifying how he had a £3m release clause.
  9. Yes he's a striker, scored a ridiculous amount for the U16s last season. 50 or something.
  10. Good article by Jordan Blackwell, although he's basically copied my research lol.
  11. Would love a sit down with Nigel. Do a bottle of schnapps with him.
  12. Still not forgiven Pearson for that with Gradel.
  13. As I've already said, what Evans is doing at 16 is rare. Only Nwaneri has got anywhere near the goals and assists at PL2 level at the same age and by the end of this season Evans will likely have wiped the floor with him too. I've gone back and looked at the various talents who've come through and there's nothing like this. Raheem Sterling did well the season he broke through but again it wasn't as obvious. Foden's end product at 17 wasn't what Evans is at 16 either. Tyler Dibling wasn't even playing PL2 at 16 and even last season at 18 wasn't this lethal. Whilst you can get players who are too dominant at this level due to physicality such as Reyes Cleary and it not mean they'll step up, Evans has decent strength but it's his pace, skill, technique and end product that cannot be dealt with and I suspect he'll do the same at any level.
  14. Trying to sort one before I go away for a week.
  15. I suspect it's Dario Osorio again, we had the opportunity to sign him for £5m but he went to Denmark instead.
  16. He was written off back end of 2020/21, then had an excellent output in 2021/22. Was written off again in 2022/23 and spearheaded us to the title in 2023/24 playing more sparingly. He's done pretty well in terms of goals and assists this season but he needs his minutes managing and we are limited by playing him every game despite the opposition.
  17. Mystifying.
  18. Anyone got any underrated running gear brands they use? Need some new stuff, in particular I want a light weight full zip up hooded jacket but of thin tracksuit type material rather than jacket/waterproof material. Can't find what I want for love nor money.
  19. Please for the love of God treat the ailing attack as concerning lying as our defence. Ayew Vardy Reid is not the answer. I know we tried to match up Brentford at their place with a 3-5-1-1 but I think it's the system that gets our two creative and energetic players in El Khannouss and Bounanotte together behind Vardy or Daka. Also please get Jake Evans in the squad, he's learnt at least a place on this god awful bench.
  20. It's breaks my heart that we'd heavily scouted Kerkez (or at the very least agents strongly recommended signing him to us) and were heavily linked with buying him and then we bid a similar fee for Kristiansen. Viktor is steady but has obvious limitations both in defence and attack. The sort of player we should have signed if he was €5m but not 3 times that. Typical of us.
  21. What Jake Evans is doing at 16 in the PL2 is on a par/better than Nwaneri last season. That doesn't mean he's guaranteed to be as devastating but it's surely worth discovering. It's incredibly unique for a 16 year old to be this dominant even at U21 level. His goals and assists in PL2, U18, FA Youth Cup and PL2 Cup this season is 15 in 17 games.
  22. Had 100% pass accuracy today apparently. Insane for a winger.
  23. I also watched their game, did end up having ours on as well 2nd half. He was impressive. He certainly is extremely comfortable at this level and any notion he couldn't get a move last summer to this level because he wasn't good enough isn't true. Keep it up Will. No brainer to watch our U21s or players on loan over the pony we serve up in the 1st team right now.
  24. Hahahahaaaa brilliant
  25. Surely the sane decision for anyone not at the game is to watch the Cardiff vs Bristol City game? Why on earth you'd watch that same old shit is beyond me. I've not watched a full game of ours in 2025.
