It's worth noting in seasons when he's played for PL teams very much in the lower half of the table where wins are at a premium and goals scored equally as scarce, he's one of the worst performing wingers who's played consistently 30+ games a season that I can recall in the last decade. This would be like employing a landscape gardener to do haircuts.

I've told my wife the game is on Saturday as I know that means I can't go. -

That's my stance too. Whilst Zaha would bring an element of genuine gold dust to this squad, he doesn't come without some consequences and it might not be the best outcome for us. I could see how he'd fit in to Cooper's system though. But likewise I see both Hlozek and Fotis being able to slot in together and it work.

The human psyche is fascinating. Had we recorded this the night before then id not have been this pig headed and angry but 24 hours later and Hlozek and Zaha not done and Jordan Ayew back on the agenda and I lost the plot. Don't listen if you don't like swearing or me being a pillock. -
I feel like today is a very pivotal day in our season and it hasn't even started yet. Hlozek and Zaha deals finalised and it puts us in a much better position to be competitive from the off. Still would require further improvements before the end of August but it would lift the club and most importantly the manager!

I could deny but I'll never realise that we're chasing Ayew, all the time.
-
I'm confident we get this one done but you never know. It would sting if it falls through.

A defence of Okoli and Faes is extremely scary. Vestergaard has to play whilst Coady is out. -
Loan swap for that left wing back of theirs
-
Be lucky if he's even named on the bench. He'll have Soumare and Hamza on there.
-
The same issue presents itself for Fulham though if this rumbles on in to next week.
-
On what planet is he? We already have Fatawu, Reid and now Bouonanotte thst play on the right. The bloke averages 3 goals a season in the Premier League. Extraordinary
-
Makes absolutely no sense

Got a feeling we still are very much in for Fotis and Hlozek so maybe if they both happen that's the two we go with.
-
Yeah I really hope we get Fotis and Hlozek
-
Hope so too, as it means Cooper gets the tin tac soon and then his replacement performs miracles.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Pretty sure I read we were offered him for €8m when he was at Koln and opted not to sign him. -
It's Friday midday for a Saturday game, but not sure if it's the same for any game Sat-Mon.
-
Reminds me of when we were in for Chris Mepham supposedly and then out of nowhere Soyuncu and Benkovic both signed on deadline day.
-
Just revisited his interview when he was first appointed, plenty not yet happened like he said it would. Pre-season has been a major disaster.
-
Hmmmmmmm that's actually a difficult one as I rate Fotis extremely highly and he's got more bloody mindedness to score goals and drive his team forward. Hlozek has the power and brains to link play very fluidly and in an ideal world we get both and we're suddenly extremely dangerous at the top end of the pitch. If I had to pick one though I'd go Hlozek as long as Zaha and another CM come in too as we'll need to create a system of on-runners on the counter for Hlozek to cause havoc.

In a straight choice between Cooper and Ricardo it's pack your bags Spaghetti Coops and good riddance. Will be his most fatal error of his short time at Leicester.
