Kriel was dropping in height a bit and did change direction towards Cane late - but he was way too upright. Good call.

TMO really makes those fools at Stockley Park look like the rank amateurs that they are. Barnes and Foley have this down to a fine art.

What a delightful chip.

Perhaps my favourite Vards wind up. He didn't run the length of the pitch though, it was scored at that end - the Homesdale stand. Animal impressions? It was certainly preferable to this one...

Steady, this is Stuart Hall-esque.

The tedious moaning on the match thread is back with a vengeance then - and as usual, those responsible stop posting when we score. Loftus Road is intimate and loud and can be a tricky place to visit, particularly when sloppy and not at your best as we were today. Admittedly, Rangers have been dire, but they showed a spirit and fight and came out to play and their genuine support got behind them (like Fulham, Palace and Charlton, no tourists or plastics). Of course the commentary team are biased - the streams were from QPR TV, Nick London and Andy Sinton ffs - naturally they are fervent about their team. They gave credit where it was due, but since we didn't perform that well today there wasn't a huge amount to give. Can't believe people were even complaining about that. Jeez. What a finish from Winks. KDH tireless today. Ricardo really steadied the ship when he replaced Hamza. Mavididi came into the game late, but a dip in form may result in Fatawu replacing him on the left, which clearly isn't his preference and the incoming McAteer deployed on the right again.

Good gods, this forum

He was certainly a force to be reckoned with gun in hand, still pissed up from the night before, during the shooting contest on Superstars.
-
This is the Republican Mantra isn't it, "the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a a good guy with a gun". Democrats will counter, "the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a congressman with a spine".

Well remembered that man. I was there. Chilly rainy midweek game in March and as I recall a combination of injuries and the flu had contrived to give him his first start. He was a first year trainee but although many hadn't seen him play and some didn't even know his name, there was a reputation, buzz and expectation around him amongst those that did. We lost 2-0.

More points than last season already.

I rode one last year. Despite the size and displacement, they are surprisingly nimble and agile - perfect for your green laning bar the tightest spots that you have visited.
-
Eh? Loftus road is just small - but being so compact it generates a good atmosphere. Real community club QPR. The Holmesdale road stand at Selhurst is superb. I'd far sooner visit either ground - add to that, Craven Cottage and the Valley too, as opposed to the sterile atmosphere at the London Stadium, the Emirates or the vitriol of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Hilarious to see Vestergaard tackling/dispossessing and breaking up play in the opposition's half. Casadei looking far more commanding in mf made some great runs into the box which is exactly what Enzo expects of him. Ricardo was superb. JJ did a great job on the right containing Jack Clarke which many have failed to do this season. Good tactical switch from the manager. As has been mentioned, Patrick Roberts is a very impressive player.

So why use 'Sumo92' instead of 'Spudulike' then?
-
I got 22 of these - found it hard to do in the time.. 'Ridiculously hard' is subjective. Some may not get the penultimate one which I found ridiculously easy.
-
I'm always primed to get out before the throngs anyway to avoid the very, very shit former goal music at full time.

Which album do you revisit the most often?
SpacedX replied to foxfanazer's topic in Music and Gaming
Good thread this. Also, some albums are seasonal. I mentioned 'The Hounds of Love'. That's one of my autumn albums. I bought it on the day of release which was September and played incessantly throughout the autumn, so obviously I equate it with that, but the music has a distinct autumn feel to it too. I tend to do melancholy and pensive during the winter and upbeat in the spring/summer. October by U2 is another Autumn album...can't think why. -
Or Fallout 5...(although there are no imminent plans for this if at all). Whilst not being able to access Elder Scrolls is a fairly big deal. Yes, I do take your point and I've always preferred the feel of a PS over what was always the more cumbersome X Box which although originally a designated game console, seemed crude and unrefined next to the Play Station. But I've always been attracted to Bethesda's releases. Not being precious or funny., I really don't want to game on a laptop. Also, I'm not a compulsive gamer, rather occasionally when a title interests me.
-
I agree. I much prefer the Playstation, but that still doesn't solve the Bethesda dilemma.
-
Thanks for the advice. As I understand it, Bethesda titles will not be available on Gamepass hence the reliance on XBox for Starfield. This is unlikely to change with future titles which is my concern.
-
Should I buy an XBox S/X series or a PS5? Always sworn by the Sony product and I detest Microsoft, but I feel that I have to follow Bethesda.

2.5 billion a year in QR funding pledged and delivered in 2019 and membership of Horizon Europe - although they didn't half drag their heels on that even though it was contingent on the Windsor Framework which took time. (Remember, it wasn't solely Tories that were responsible for Brexit and there was a significant pro-remain faction amongst their ranks). HURRIEDLY EDITS TO ADD: I am not a Tory voter.
