Preston Away - Monday 29th April - Pre Match
Twitcher replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
The title matters to me. I'd have preferred to see a more subdued celebration until it's in the bag. There'll be so much hype about Ipswich winning it after having come up last year, and to say we've sat top most of the season, I'll be disappointed if we finish second, and it can be attributed to celebrations. Not a good look if Preston turn us over, and a professional performance follows on Tuesday by Ipswich. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Twitcher replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Do you mean could we still be deducted points for this season, i.e. we might not be up yet? -
Next Seasons Squad - Can we now talk about it?

Yes I was thinking more about those on the fringe, rather than young but first teamers. An example would be Nelson, and to an extent McAteer. -

Yes but re. my question, won't spending just be laying the foundations for a future PSR fine? We've proved we're not very good at accountancy. I get nervous when I read fan pressure on here, saying we need a new CB, a new CF etc. I agree we do, but we may need to do a Luton Town this time round, and work with wgat we've got. -

I know we needed to go all out to get back up, but I think if there was one disappointment from this season is our failure to really bring some of the youngsters through. Will be even harder flooding them in the Prem. -

With our previous PSR misdemeanours are we in a position to buy anyone, or will we have to work with what we've got? Surely got to be much tighter control on the purse strings. Having said that I don't want any of those that didn't fancy it in the Championship to try and slither back in; you know who you are. He receives stick, but fair play to people like Faes who were prepared to stick it out. -
I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting Leeds and Ipswich wins, and still a bit of heat on Monday. Relax .
-
I agree. If Coventry beat Hull tonight, they'll both still be in with a chance of the play-offs, with Ipswich to face both. There's also a chance Huddersfield will be fighting for their lives as well on the last day.

I can't see Leeds losing on Friday, but I can see a draw, which would leave us needing just a point from two games.

Preston Away - Monday 29th April - Pre Match

Well Preston were shocking against Ipswich, and that was when they had a chance of the play-offs. Can't see anything now but a Leicester win. -

Yes I always think that's a good, but at the same time bad record to have. -
What an absolute legend. As a young kid growing up supporting Leicester it was Frank Worthington for me and it left lasting memories. What it must be like for my young equivalent with Vardy. Lifetime legend for them.

Southampton 5-0 post match mutual touching frisky party

Emphatic! Performance summed up for me by Mavididi, 93rd minute charging back to make a tackle. I enjoyed that game. My 1-1 was a bit off -
We'll see. I still think they'll go full strength.
-
I can't see that. You don't give up on a chance of automatic. They'll be going all out to win with the best eleven they gave available.
-
I think if we win tonight, we are effectively up. However, I think it will be a 1-1 draw.
-
I think we'll see a change now in results for the top 3. As we saw with Leeds last night, I think most games will be won from now on. The recent nerves will be replaced with a, near the finish line, all guns blazing approach from teams, and they'll simply win. Hopefully our lead will see us home. I just can’t see Leeds and Ipswich stumbling, but I equally think we'll draw tonight, and beat Preston and Blackburn.
-
Boro not really played like a team thinking they had a chance of the play-offs. I think they'd given that up. Hopefully Preston and Blackburn will be equally on the beach. Preston were shocking against Ipswich, when they had a chance of the play-offs. Blackburn turned over by Wednesday yesterday.
-
Because we play too slowly, giving them time to organise their defensive lines. Watching Leeds is like watching us on fast forward. Also teams know that every single player in our team has to touch the ball on the edge of the box, (twice) before we do anything.
-
Definitely. I'd have done so at the start, but no question now.
-
In addition to Southampton it would be good if Preston lose today. Their season over then.
-
Regardless of the Leeds result, would you take a point?
-
Yes I think on clear cut chances I had it at 7-4 to Albion
-
I don't think any of them will

Just speaking to a mate of mine who's a Baggies fan. He says we've no reason to worry on Saturday. They're on a run of one win in five, and they're only fit striker was sent off at the weekend.
