Yes a defeat will do nothing for us, especially in terms of momentum, whether first or second string play. Exactly what we don't need where a slight wobble might be being detected, (by some).

From a business viewpoint, you're right. From a fan perspective I'd take the cup instead. That goes in the history books forever. Be interesting to know how you'd feel if we'd never won it. It might be an age thing. I'm nearly 60. The FA Cup matters. For some of our younger fan base, the Prem. seems to be the only goal. We'll go up and at some point, we'll come down. As a club we always have done. We need to be realistic about our chances if/when we go up. Do we have the money we'll need in the Premier League? I watched Bournemouth get stuffed 4-0 yesterday. I think Bournemouth are currently better than us. I'd take an FA Cup all day long.

We've played the same amount of games as everyone else, and had the luxury of rotating more than most teams in the division. We've also controlled possession in so many games, so have done a lot less chasing. Absolutely no reason why we should look shattered.

Strange mentality by some. I thought we had aspirations of being a Premier League side. We either are a Premier League side in waiting, and should therefore be targeting this competition, (as we would next season if we go up), or we're a second tier side, with absolutely no hope of winning it, as some have said. I don't see how we can think we're good enough to go up, but consider this competition beyond us.

Is that six different penalty takers this season? Kel Vardy Daka Mavadidi Dewsbury-Hall Cannon

It's the FA Cup! I'll be disappointed if we don't put out a strong/our strongest eleven. A team that's only ever won it once should not be disrespecting the competition. Besides, Millwall are tricky, especially at home, and a defeat, even if not in the league, still knocks us out of our stride. As someone said above, going out in the 3rd round of the FA Cup is a horrible feeling.

Sit back, concede, rinse and repeat.

Is he fit? Is Doyle the only injury?
-
Shame about the third. 2-1 would have looked a lot tidier. Never mind. It doesn't impact on the journey we're on. Will look forward to Liverpool getting knocked out though. Can't stand 'em🤞

Luxury of bringing Iheanacho and Fatawu on as late subs. What!! Happy days. 😊

Out in Leeds, where I live. Watching it in Walkabout. Only six people upstairs. TV's turned off downstairs. Vardy scores. Big cheer from these two lads, students. Went over to be able to celebrate with someone. Now a bit drunk. Happy days. "We're gonna win the league..."

Hull did pass the ball well yesterday. They created several opportunities with slick passing into the middle and out on the right that created chances. They also knew how to defend in numbers when we had the ball. On another day, some of our chances go in, but equally they had some good chances. We deserved at least a point, but it wasn't a travesty that Hull got something out of the game. I think they'll do okay this season.
-
We actually played okay, as did Hull. Both teams passed it well. We're still a bit too slow at times in the build-up though. Fatawu injected some much needed pace. He looks a really good buy. Has to start as does Casadei. I've still not seen Vestergaard run this season. How he manages to play walking football at this level is a mystery. Hurry back Coady. Faes also caught out a couple of times. We need to be able to resort to a back four when required. Better teams will take advantage. Doyle also skinned a couple of times today which was worrying. Overall though very unlucky to lose that. Some poor finishing. On another day we win that 4-2. Officials not great.

For some reason it's not listed by the BBC "complete" list of deadline say deals.

Well we need options. Vardy gets injured and Kel hits a poor spell of form, Where's the out and out forward? No sign of anyone coming in. Two strikers is not enough.

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan

Not disappointed at all. Always thought he looked rushed. I'd be prepared to give him time based on his age, but based on last season's performances from VK, Thomas is a better bet for me. -
Poor today and I was really hoping he'd do well. His distribution was awful. Just kept passing it a few yards forwards to a man who was marked, and who quickly passed it back. Never once looked left to play Doyle in, or looked long. No pace af all. Surely Doyle into the middle and JJ at left-back, or if not a direct swap with Souttar.
-
I agree. Surprised at a lot of the negative comments. Thought he turned the clock back a bit, and looked sharper than he has done for a while.
-
I think they were just saying you could have been part of this winning team, rather than be part of a losing Leicester side.
-
Nine minutes in the second half was ridiculous. I'm all for this change, but it needs to be applied more realistically. 5 and 6 per half in the Leeds game was more in keeping with what happened, 1 and 9 was crazy.

Thought Hermansen, Winks and Mavididi had solid debuts. All played well. The midfield was the highlight. A bit lightweight upfront. I'm thinking we need a more physical presence in this league upfront. I'd also start Albrighton ahead of McAteer, but he did okay. The real concern was the defence. I really wanted Vestergaard to do well, but... His distribution was just knocking a ball forward a few yards knowing he'd get it straight back. Never looked out left to play Doyle in. Slow on 1:1's. He looked like he had lead weights in his boots. Surely Souttar, or move Doyle into the middle, as he doesn’t seem to get forward, and Justin to come in at left-back. Very lucky Cov. couldn't finish. Pleased we won, but left feeling we got away with one. No Thomas or Soumare amongst the subs. Soumare I'm fine with, but Thomas worth persevering with.
-
Hermansen Ricardo Coady Souttar Justin Albrighton Winks KDh Thomas Vardy Daka No one would get in who I perceived didn't always put it in last year, even if they're better than some I've chosen. Options at the back and up front, but we are short in midfield.

I'm pretty sure Tete was included. As davieG has suggested, I think it's Evans.

Re. the moving on out of contract group, I've seen it described a few times as seven players. Who's the additional one you've added to the list?

James Maddison completes move to Spurs
Twitcher replied to AllGoneTitsSchlupp's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think he's been a bit hasty. He can do better than Spurs. He'll win jack there. They're getting a bargain though at £40m if that's the fee.
