Hatton is a supreme ball striker but I can't even watch him on the greens. Every missed putt we get 30 seconds of drama, flinging his arms in the air, looking at the putter face, blaming his caddy, and basically being a total bell cheese.
-
Haha he's human after all
-
Shout out to Chris Gotterup for winning the Scottish last week and currently joint 2nd in his first Open. If he continues this form he could well be a RC wild card pick.
-
Probably. Not sure he'll quite match Tiger winning by 15 at the '00 US Open though
-
Tiger by 8 in 2000 I think

Yeah it just becomes an anticlimactic procession and a battle for second place. Can't blame Scottie though, the rest just need to be better.
-
Shades of Tiger at the '97 Masters and '00 US Open here. Scottie +8.55 SG approach on the field this week is outrageous. One of the best ever at getting the ball hole high nearly every time. His distance control is unbelievable.
-
Haha Scottie with a kick in birdie on the first.
-
Perfect conditions today, someone will go low but it still won't be enough. The crowds have been amazing this week. Portrush has done a stella job as host again.
-
Scottie reaching Tiger levels of domination over the last 3 years so you have to admire his game. But with Tiger it was always exciting because he was constantly animated whereas Scottie looks like he'd rather be anywhere else. I'm sure Scottie is a nice guy but he's got absolutely no personality on the golf course.

The roars for Rory are deafening. Ryder cup esque. What a great start, he must be buzzing.
-
Scottie has held the 54 hole lead on 8 occasions as a pro and ended up winning them all If he's still leading tonight, the odds are he'll close it out again.
-
Haha, thanks mate. I'm sure you're correct but right now it feels like we've bitten off more than we can chew here! At least it'll keep us busy and gives me a focus but my golf game is going to suffer

Worst performance you've seen live from a Leicester player
Izzy replied to Jacob7839's topic in Leicester City Forum
Controversial one but Vardy away at Bristol City when we lost 0-1 on Good Friday a couple of seasons ago. He missed three absolute sitters and was clearly still pissed from the night before. But I forgave him.- 171 replies

4-6 weeks sounds like heaven. We're fully expecting our renovation to take at least 6-9 months. The house is 50 years old and EVERYTHING needs updating. Got the plumber in next week to remove cold water storage tank from the loft and replace hot water cylinder & boiler plus replace all radiators. Then sparky the week after that to update fuse board, install extractor fans, smoke alarms, plus upgrade lights/wall sockets, then hopefully new kitchen installed the week after that. Then new en-suite, main bathroom and downstairs WC. Then fix all the cracks, new double garage door, replace external cladding, new flooring/carpets, redecorate etc. Not to mention the garden needs a total overhaul. Jeez I feel depressed writing all this

What a treat sat on my arse all day watching the golf. Portrush is a fantastic course and venue and a great test. A few big names possibly played themselves out of it already but early days. If Rory can tidy up a few minor errors I really fancy him. Same again tomorrow

The cheesy grin on Padraig's face He's loving the honor of teeing off first.

6.30am, first tee rammed. Looking forward to 14 hours of coverage. Love the Open

Chain free and ready to move into is very appealing and if your buyers are FTB's you could exchange and complete pretty quickly I guess. The place we've just moved into is a project/renovation and although the prospect is exciting, it's a bit overwhelming and my impatience wants it all done yesterday. Lots of reliance on contractors availability and we've only got a certain budget so need to be mindful of costs too. Will be amazing when it's all done but will be a bit of a journey to get there. Sounds like you've got some good ideas for the new place, hope it all works out for you.

Scottie getting all deep and meaningful. 'What's the point?' - Scheffler's daily golfing wrestle https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/articles/cvg6zgeypego

Looking forward to hearing 13 different pronunciations of his surname as I walk towards the ground
-
Best of luck mate. It took us four months from accepting offer to moving in and that was with three others in the chain. Hope you've got a decent conveyancer in place. A competent and reliable one is worth every penny IMO.

I've got a Jag XF 67 reg in British Racing Green. I bought it at the start of lockdown and didn't really do my research properly. In hindsight, I should have gone for the 3.0l petrol version not the 2.0l diesel. The thing that sold me was the colour tbh. There's very few around and the metallic flakes absolutely pop in the sunshine. The best colour car I've ever had by a mile and I won't be getting rid of it any time soon.
