This whole GoodGood/Callaway advert thing is being blown way out of proportion IMHO Initial apologies all around were sufficient I reckon but now you've got Callaway binning off GoodGood as partners and feeling they need to donate $1m to womens domestic abuse charities. And now the PGA Tour have put pressure on GoodGood to make them drop thier sponsorship of the PGA fall event in Texas. It was a stupid and naive advert in the first place but you'd think Garrett and co. were guilty of murder FFS.

In the mid 90's I managed an out of town superstore on a retail park in Hull. Mothercare was next door and I used to nip in and chat to their manager about business and stuff. One day I was in their managers office having a coffee and asked if I could use their toilet. On entering the loo I was greeted by these huge neon/flourescent light strips everywhere which felt like I was in a nightclub - it was really odd. When I finished my piss I went back and asked the manager why the bizzare light set up in the bog to which they answered: "It's to make sure when the smack heads come in to shoot up they can't find a vein in that light so they leave" Nice. It's never dull in Hull

I've just had my first physio session (£72!!!) which was much needed and overdue. Got some Ibruprofen gel and exercises to do but the pisser is no golf for at least 3 weeks

Anyone suffered from tennis elbow before? Fvck me it's unbearable and now my whole arm and wrist hurts too. I can hardly lift a cup of tea. Tried supports, ice, deep heat, antii inflamatories, rest, strengthening exercises, everything, but I can't shift it. It's been over a year and really pissing me off now.

I've decided to get back into the NFL proper this year having lurked for a couple of decades really. Never really paid much attention to pre-season but watching the Raiders v Cardinals yesterday I was really surprised at the intensity. Not a training ground freindly like football, but a full on, high impact battle. You wouldn't know the difference between this and a regular season game. First round pick Mendoza looking good at QB for the Raiders but sounds like Cousins will get the start. Fells like it might be an improvement for the Raiders this season but probably still an overall losing one looking at the fixtures.

Apart from two teenagers constantly moaning that the wifi in the villa was too slow, it was great thanks
