Totally agree with this, if for arguments sake when we got promoted the club said it would put its focus into developing the youth system and look to integrate that into our training facilities, and have a long term view for the first team. I would have accepted short term pain as there would be a plan. As it turns out we spent loads on players that can’t even get in this team, and at every level the club is run appallingly.

Not able to get his own back room staff ( I see Everton have got a new staff for Moyes). Board lying to the manager at the start about how much money / PSR status. A top training ground facility but absolutely no strategy across all formats of the football club. Would not blame him for jumping, I can’t see any manager turning us around on their own with these players and board.

Really felt we missed a trick by not playing Mendy in midfield as our midfield really looks out of balance. With him he can pass and do the dirty work so I don’t understand why he was not getting a game!
