Was expecting Russell Crowe, but in the cold light of day they looked more like this lot. We go to Rome and leave those children without a dog to breast feed from!

How shit do you have to be to actually get out of Europe? If we lose in the Europa Conference, we will probably be in the 4th qualifying round for 2 weeks in f###ing Benidorm.. -

Break as in half time mate, he's O.K. by the looks of it. But God knows how, must have a leg made of rubber.. -
Off to The Azores in a couple of weeks, has anyone been? Most people I've mentioned it to have never heard of it. Going to be doing a bit of whale watching and some hiking about the island. Should be a nice week. For anyone who doesn't it's a group of islands in the Atlantic belonging to Portugal.

I found Morocco the same, I felt I needed a holiday after coming back. Every time you went out for a walk it felt like a computer game, having to navigate all these different characters. Saying that, we met some wonderful locals and one of the coastal towns we visited was much more relaxed. Food was wonderful and cheap and weather was smashing. I wouldn't go back though, find it too stressful.

What have Old Trafford and Wormwood Scrubs got in common on every second Saturday at 4:45pm..... They are both full of Cockneys trying to get out!

Nothing against the lad and I will always remember his Cardiff goal fondly, but he's a pace merchant with little to no craft. He looks the same player today as the day he joined.

The wife has a casual collection of these commemorative 50 pence pieces. I'm sick of them just laying about, so I went online to get her a coin folder to store them in today. It got me thinking about the things people collect, so I thought I'd ask on here. What do you collect? (NONE LEICESTER RELATED)

Iv'e heard Common Eider cited as not only the fastest British bird in level flight, but in the world.... Also, as for cambridgefox comments about the British birding community, they are spot on. I've been heavily involved in the scene for nearly a decade since I took up birding in my mid 20's and I've seen some mad stuff. From twitching to local patching there is intense rivalry and elements of tribalism. The political side of the hobby is magnified since the launch of social media, but it does make for a fascinating entertainment. Threats of violence between birders is regular. This is mostly at the hardcore end of the hobby mind and doesn't effect your weekend birder thankfully. It's a wonderful hobby if you can keep clear of the politics and lunatics...
