  1. Amazing news and credit to the clubs decision makers for acting quickly and decisively, which they haven’t always done in the past. Let’s hope we already have someone lined up and move quickly as really cannot afford to gob into the next couple of fixtures with a relatively inexperienced interim team in place. personally I think it will be RVN
  2. He is currently getting hammered by Max Rushden and Barry Glendinning for his constant moaning about refs especially when they both noted how poor we were. Good news is the media seem to be seeing through him and his shite.
  3. For the people who say this squad is nowhere near good enough, just remember the majority of this squad were capable of taking on and performing well within a very technical and structured tactical system, albeit in the championship it actually showed that the group were open to new ideas and have the football intelligence and desire to take on new ideas and improve. They are now being left to their own devices with very limited technical and tactical input from the equivalent of a supply teacher who has zero respect and his only redeeming feature is too try and be everyone’s best mate to deflect from his shortcomings. Yes there is still a lot of work to be done to become a squad and team capable of challenge top half of the table but this is nowhere near a squad full of pub players either, there is plenty of quality to work with and a coach worth his salt would get us better organised to be more effective at both ends of the pitch.
  4. Absolutely spot on in my opinion. I actually think the majority of the squad genuinely care and want to do well for the club and their own personal pride. Cooper and his ‘tactics’ clearly constrain the players and then at a stage in the game it becomes 💩 or bust and they almost throw out the plan and have a go, at this point we usually have our best spells.
  5. Not arsed about the team selection just hope we don’t have Cooper in the dugout, if the change is made the whole place is lifted and I can see us getting a positive result. Keep him charge and it will just be more of the same, zero ambition try and keep the scoreline respectable oh and have a moan and whinge about the ref, rinse and repeat.
  6. I am not sure there has ever been that loud or discerning chants for managers to be removed, tends to be more about booing at half time/full time or lots of empty seats as it’s not a good luck for a TV game. The lack of atmosphere, fans leaving early will not go unnoticed as well as Vardy’s very visible outburst directed to Cooper and his backroom team as he left the pitch will also go a lot further in forcing the board to act. I think player unrest will be the catalyst for change a long time before any chants from the stands influence proceedings.
  7. Absolutely not and when you consider both wins were far from convincing and could have gone either way then it could have been a lot worse. I really hope today or tomorrow it’s announced he has left. IIRC the two managers who have been sacked or left by mutual consent (Rodgers & Puel) were both announced on a Sunday.
  8. Also it suggests that quite a few players are challenging his methods and it seems to be largely the players who were pivotal under Maresca. Vesty, Riccy, Winks, Mavadidi, Fatawu have all had spells out the side and after yesterday Vards seemed far from happy, it would appear that the players have seen through him and the vocal ones are being singled out.
  9. 😂 Get posting people only 27 more pages to go we could be there by this afternoon.
  10. He is now down to 8/1 and 13/2 with 3 bookies, odds are shortening have a feeling a story will break in tomorrows media that the players don’t buy into his ideas, and by Monday morning he will be odds on and then the by Monday night he will have left.
  11. Couldn’t agree more, this is a decent squad, a coach worth his salt could get a real tune. Whilst everyone belittles the squad remember- Hermansen - Danish international Vestergaard - Danish international Kristensen- Danish international Faes - Belgian international Okoli - Italian international Ndidi - Nigerian international Winks & Skipp - seasoned premier league players with a top 6 club Vardy - need we say more Facundo - Argentina international Ricardo & Justin - seasoned premier league players Fatawu pre injury - Ghana international BDR - seasoned premier league player Eduaord - seasoned premier league player Ayew - Ghana international Bilal - Moroccan international Mavididi - more than capable of being a decent premier league player 18 out of 25 of the squad that are internationals without touching on the likes of Coady, Thomas, Ward, Daka etc that have also played international football even if only u21 level. Lets not pretend that Cooper is managing a championship squad, because he isn’t, granted they aren’t going to be top 10 but also they aren’t relegation cannon fodder. Too many are happy to give a sub standard manager a free hit when that is not the case.
  12. Couldn’t agree more he is appalling on every level, any new manager with half a plan and tactical ability would get a significantly better outcome with this squad, he is winging it and the players don’t respect or have him in the slightest. It’s actually embarrassing to have no recognisable tactical plan or playing style. His team selections are all over the place. Get him gone ASAP
  13. Hopefully Palace and Wolves getting decent results today will spark our board into action and the fact we are now dangerous close to the relegation zone, on a poor run and continually throwing in piss poor performance after piss poor performance will mean he is sacked tonight or tomorrow.
  14. Wolves starting to be their act together as are Palace, both teams showing some fight and ambition and getting decent results, we are on a downward trend if we act quickly and decisively I think we can still push on but if we persist with Cooper we will be in the bottom 3 sooner rather than later and if he stays I am afraid we will sink without trace.
  15. I think it’s 4 bookings and 1 touchline ban already, embarrassing to think he has had more bookings than wins. Also maybe he should spend more time coaching the team than berating officials.
  16. Good solid sources? Really hope this is true, given Top was in attendance today, we were so poor and the fact several players seemed frustrated towards the bench especially Vardy then you have to hope the club decide a change has to happen immediately.
  17. Best thing is we had an international break to work on tactics and yet again we had no tactical plan, we are literally regressing with every passing day Cooper and his staff remain in position. We are literally reliant on moments of individual brilliance to get us the 💩 week in week out, I fail to see what Cooper brings to us except disadvantage us week in week out. we are comfortably below the point per game run rate as well now which seemed some sort of acceptable yardstick to measure Cooper by, so surely there is no redeeming feature to keep him any longer.
  18. Funnily enough that was my thoughts too, Vardy and Ayew both fairly animated at the end of game. More likely a player revolt will force Top and Rudkin’s hand than the pair actually be proactive and bin him.
  19. 4 defeats out of 5, 14 goals conceded in that time, our only point came in a game in injury time where we had been outclassed for the large proportion of the match against a side who had yet to win. The writing has been on the wall since the start but now the results are now mirroring the performances. The trend is a downward trajectory, we are getting worse not better, if he is not relieved of his duties soon then it’s an abdication of responsibility on the boards part.
  20. I hope so because that was a disgusting negative nothing of a performance, shameful. That type of set up and performance was akin to a league 2 team away to a premier league team in the FA Cup 3rd round, but for some poor finishing and Mads making more saves, to keep the scoreline respectable. We are now on for 31/32 points which potentially gets you relegated, now is the time to act and hopefully get a reaction away to Brentford and home to West Ham.
  21. Watch Cooper now try to say we were a penalty award away from a draw when we have absolutely stunk the place out for the majority of the game. The only person who should be answering difficult questions about his performance should be Cooper, make no mistake this has been an absolute thrashing despite the scoreline. Horrible horrible performance. Cooper has to go.
  22. Vardy livid when he went off looked to be fuming and having words with Cooper and coaching staff, if Vardy ain’t happy then it likely this will end soon
  23. Has more yellow cards than wins 😂
  24. Another week, another game and another Steve Cooper head scratcher of a team selection. No Mavididi and Soumare preferred over Skipp people continuously like to defend him by saying it’s not a great squad etc etc but bloody hell why keep hamstringing yourself with bizarre tactics, selections and substitutions. He really doesn’t help himself does he, not sure if he is actually picked the strongest 11 available to him yet for any of our games so far.
  25. Yeah would certainly be a turn up, but remember this used to happen with Puel, Levein etc etc look to be on their way out and would somehow pull out a result to keep their job, but when you are not the right man or clearly a manager out of his depth, eventually it catches up and the poor runs become longer and the wins become less and less, the players check out of your methods, we are already seeing this with Cooper. If we win today he will buy himself more time and kick the inevitable a little bit further down the road, however lose and lose poorly with a negative reaction from the fanbase and it could force the club to act quicker than expected.
