  1. Absolutely criminal we haven’t at least spoken to him
  2. The mistake wasn’t necessarily signing them as all had reasonable reputations however where we went massively wrong was offering ridiculous wages that has meant it has been impossible to move these players on for any kind of acceptable fee. Daka was allegedly on £7k a week at Salzburg and we offered him £70k, realistically we could have offered him £21-28k and he would have probably accepted. Likewise Soumare ended up on £80k trouble is clubs will look to low ball us on transfer fee to mitigate the high wages and/or expect us to pay a hefty % of the wage which makes it nigh on impossible to get shut of them without taking a big PSR hit so we end up stuck with them until they leave in final year for very small fee or go for free. We have massively hamstrung ourselves by paying extortionate wages, leaving no room for manoeuvre when a signing doesn’t work out.
  3. If we can’t get Pearson back, then Smith is a very good alternative to come in and do a very similar job.
  4. Would happily take that especially given where we currently sit as a club
  5. To the tune of Vichai had a dream - Top and Rudkin had a dream to destroy a football team , One from Thailand and one who thinks he’s one of our own They ****ed up the back and we no longer attack 6 point deduction you made us sing that
  6. https://smry.ai/proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Farticle-15532515%2FLeicester-City-points-deduction.html brilliant article by Tom Collomose
  7. Absolutely spot on and since making these cost saving decisions have spunked £42m in transfer fees on Coady, Winks & Skipp. Continued to shell out massive wages to Winks, Coady, Vestergaard, Soumare & Daka to the tune of £400k per week. Sigend absolute pony like VK, Ayew, BDCR given contract extensions to the likes of Thomas, Choudhury and Vestergaard. Signed Eduarod on loan on massive wages and barely used him. And turned down offers for players like Iversen and Daka to let them leave for free or run contract down to be able to move for free. The list goes on and on and on, it’s utter incompetence, our wage to turn over ratio has been running at over 100% for each of the last 3 audited accounts, it’s irresponsible and not only has it led to a massive decline, 6 point deduction, potential relegation to league 1 but also left us on the brink of financial meltdown and who knows what next …..administration, and yet some still defend this regime and say be careful what you wish for, when will you be wake up and smell the coffee, because if this carries on this level of downward trajectory then it’s league one and the possibility our club could be in the hands of administrators by this time next year if not sooner.
  8. Surely the pressure has to crank up on Rudkin now, the confirmation of the points deduction has made his position untenable, he should have gone after relegation in 22/23.
  9. Glad it’s done and dusted, terrible news but at least we now know what we have to do. Let’s hope this galvanises the whole club and gives everyone some fire in there belly’s. However I really really hope that most importantly we learn some big lessons as this can never ever happen again, we have burnt money whilst overseeing a monumental decline through piss poor strategy, recruitment and managing of finances. This has absolutely been our own making.
  10. I wonder if Martin and Rowett have both been interviewed and it has led to a couple of punters placing a bet hence the movement
  11. I met Marti at Seagrave when I completed my last run of Prostate United and he is a genuinely good bloke, he was class towards me and my family and went above and beyond the standard conversation you would expect to have. A parting of the ways was inevitable and the right decision but he was a decent person who genuinely cared about the club.
  12. If the 3 outstanding deal go through then it’s pleasing to see us move forward a slightly different profile of player, for the last few seasons I have felt we have lacked physicality as a side, it’s no coincidence this has manifested itself to a point where our running stats and duels won is so poor and we concede so many soft goals, we are so easy to play against both in and out of possession and in open play and set pieces. Adding some much needed physicality will hopefully help start to turn the tide.
  13. The bit that makes me smile most is the fact the club still believe they can make a play off charge, they are either deluded or the points deduction isn’t coming until next season
  14. I just want it over and done with, so at least as fans we know where we stand, it is highly likely that it will put us in a relegation battle. It’s a strange feeling for me, yes the club has breached and rightly should be punished and by the rules that is a points deduction, the bit I struggle with is that this punishes the fans who have little or no control over it whilst the likes of Top and Rudkin can carry on running the club into the ground.
  15. ……..drop that we are interested in bringing Enzo back, a big proportion of the fanbase get excited and then the club can say we tried but it wasn’t the right time but we have hired someone who plays the same principles, enter Russell Martin 😂
  16. Are you taking the piss as dogshit Ayew is, let’s not pretend Daka is any better, pair are ****ing woeful only improve when they ain’t playing and the other one is a stinking the gaff out. Bit like VK and Thomas whoever plays is shite and the other is a slightly better level of muck
  17. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 feck me as much I would love this to happen what a load of 💩 😂
  18. Reckon it will break, Percy and Alex Crook bomb dropped in the next 24 hours saying Martin will be announced on a 3.5 year contract
  19. You can see why he is being reintegrated, looks highly unlikely he will leave before the deadline and Brussell will love him in his system
  20. Announcement tomorrow ….3.5 year deal is my prediction
  21. Yep that’s my thoughts too, these two have wanted him for a while, this is an open goal for them to bring him in and he is available. Our only hope is it’s Ayew shooting at said open goal …… Was Brussel at the KP watching the game?
  22. I have just placed a bet on Brussel and Stevie G either way I at least make some money from my misery
  23. …..Russell Martin incoming? Played 40 games for him in 23/24 season
  24. FFS … never learn do we Also does this mean Russell Martin incoming? Played 40 games for him in 23/24 season
  25. We desperately need a couple of 26/27/28 year old decent loan signings to help the younger players as the current crop of “leaders” are feckin appalling. Ricky P - really struggling looks like his legs have gone Hamza - enough said Vestergaard- had numerous fall outs and not involved today Winks - wants out and not a leader BDCR - had a little purple patch earlier in the season but has dropped off in recent weeks Ayew - plays for himself and not the team and the penalty sums up his mentality
