  1. Was absolutely magnificent today looked a real leader as well, took responsibility and was everywhere, play like that every week and he will become a real fan favourite.
  2. Wow just fcuking wow he looked absolute class out there today not only can he play but bloody hell he can defend
  3. Loved that class 1st half and 2nd half showed some real fight and bollocks to see it out. How good to see 3 youngsters on the pitch to see the result out. Nelson, Luke Thomas, JJ, Skipp, Mav were outstanding. Win lose or draw that has to be the blue print of how play the rest of the season, fans can really get behind that type of performance. Loved the team selection and the subs. Marti showed a bit of ruthlessness and got what he deserved.
  4. Hopefully this is more like the style of play Marti wants us to play, something has not felt right ever since after the Fiorentina friendly. Today seems much more like it let’s hope for a decent 2nd half performance and shut the game out
  5. No thanks keep Reid on he has been superb
  6. Had been absolute quality today and has been fairly good and consistent this season. He cannot control the transfer fee we paid for him but he has suffered a bit as a consequence. He seems like a decent pro who is hard working and offers a very good defensive shield in front of the back 4 and allows JJ to do his stuff. I really like the look of Skipp and JJ together as we seem to have a lot more intensity and energy in our game.
  7. In fairness has barely had a consistent run in the team, perhaps just needs a manager who believes in him and look at him go. Been top class today not just in his off the ball work but in possession as well he has been excellent. Deserved his goal, and hopefully the turning point in his Leicester career.
  8. That was superb, every single player at least a 7/10 work rate immense and love the quick play. Massive shoutout to Skipp and BDCR who have both had their critics but have been top drawer 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 seems a real togetherness today.
  9. I don’t mind this team at all, once Okoli and Souttar are back then hopefully we never see Faes in a squad again, no Soumare or Winks anywhere to be seen, Nelson starting with Aluko, Page, Evans and Silko on the bench. Shame Monga is not involved hopefully it’s either a minor knock or a little wake up call.
  10. Also show a decent attitude as well, at least he hasn’t downed tools like some of the other senior players.
  11. Boro looked very good last night everything we are not, played with great intensity and looked to mix it up, playing possession football but with purpose and energy rather than this slow laboured style we seem to favour.
  12. I am surprised he has said this given he has already experienced this with Birmingham not so very long ago. I really like JJ and Abdul but both need to let the talking happen in the dressing room and get some of the others who have clearly downed tools to step up, if they do then they might just be able to back up their recent statements otherwise it’s just a load of piss and wind.
  13. There is no way I would even consider supporting any other club, Leicester City has been the one constant in my life since I was 5 years old, I have supported and loved them like nothing else for nearly 47 years. i adore my family but this is something very different, a love and a commitment that despite players, managers, owners, kits, even stadiums changing my love and passion never diminishes. Joking aside whenever I think about this, it always raises another question, what is it that makes people support a football club and carry that love and commitment right through their lives, because it’s not really what humans are tuned into do. We fall in and out of love with people, we can be fickle and flaky with friends, jobs etc and yet most people make this lifetime commitment that they never waiver from, its mad isn’t it?
  14. In modern day football given the high wages and long contracts of players, especially now given PSR, it will always be easier to sack a manager and hope a new appointment can get a tune from a group, rather than take a financial hit moving on bad egg within a squad. It hasn’t worked out for Cifuentes here, in a similar way to Cooper, it has just never got going here, there has been no stand out 90 minute performance, just lots of little cameo’s and individual moments of magic. Personally unless he makes wholesale changes to the starting XI today and gets rid of the toxic minority then it’s just a matter of time, however I can see Eustace having our number today and Derby hitting us on the counter and comfortably beating us by 2 or 3 and it being the end for Marti.
  15. Absolutely spot on i think anyone of the 3 names mentioned but would very good solid appointments who could work alongside the new technical director in getting the club set back up for success. I would not be against seeing any of the 3 appointed on an 18 month deal with a remit to help rebuild the club. I am pretty sure Martin O’Neill has been linked a couple of times with a return to the club since KP took over, I think the first time was when Sven eventually took over.
  16. Bit of an outsider but wouldn’t be surprised to see Michael Skubala who is doing pretty well at Lincoln linked if we do make a change.
  17. I don’t blame him either pal just gutted it came to this and to see him still delivering at the highest level shows the quality of the man.
  18. Absolutely miles ahead of any of our lot, absolute elite mentality then look at some of the players in our squad stealing a living . Criminal he didn’t finish his career with us.
  19. Stolarcyrk or Begovic Ricardo Vesty Nelson Aluko Skipp James Fatawu Page Monga Mavididi
  20. Brilliant episode again fellas and yet again a great blend of opinion and viewpoints. Thought Matt Heath was excellent.
  21. Absolutely not we kidded ourselves that relegation to the championship would provide enough of a kick up the arse to drive a complete overhaul / reset and it didn’t, so there is absolutely nothing to suggest another relegation to league one would do anything except make the whole situation considerably worse.
  22. Enzo did get a tune out of them but slightly different circumstances as Winks had only just signed and we had a lot more quality in the squad including KDH, Wilf, Vards, JJ to name a few, also Faes had only been here a season himself whereas now we are 2 seasons on and both have checked out. I agree he shouldn’t be picking them both but I do question if he is being directed to include certain players. If so it is a weakness as he has to stand up and refuse to include them or if it’s by his own choosing then he is going to be complicit in his own downfall.
  23. The clubs social media account on X has just posted Marti’s thoughts on yesterday so maybe he isn’t on his bike just yet
  24. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up the other way and we end up finding the technical director through the new managers agent
  25. I am asking if you think Winks and Faes amongst a number of others have displayed a good attitude and given their all in every game. Yes Marti hasn’t been great but there a good few players who should be taking a long hard look at themselves as well. it’s too easy to always blame the manager or his tactical shortcomings but that first half was on the players it was disgraceful especially Winks and Faes.
