  1. Let see if Winks maintains the levels he showed in that 2nd half for the remainder of the season. Let’s not pretend he is blameless in all of this. He downed tools at Preston away, ducked out of 50/50 tackles away at Charlton, his “performance” against Sheffield United was sabotage. That isn’t on any of the managers that was on him, he can’t control tactics or the performances of his colleagues but he can control how he plays and his attitude. I am sure JJ has been frustrated but he doesn’t down tools. His antics, performance levels and lack of professionalism throughout large parts of this season has been symbolic of the deep rooted issues at the club and as a senior player and supposedly one of the leadership group that js unforgivable. He is as destructive and disruptive as Faes or JV have ever been, so why he is ever given a free hit by fans is beyond me. Yeah for 45 minutes yesterday he decided to turn up and show he was arsed, that is the bare minimum he should be doing week in week out not withstanding his ridiculous wage. The forgiveness he is being shown after how he has behaved on the basis of one goal. a celebration and one half of decent football sums up why so many are accepting of our current position.
  2. Ruud looked amazing in his first two games then it all went to 💩
  3. Cifuentes was to blame for us not challenging for play offs but Aiyawatt and Rudkin were also to blame for sacking him and not having a plan and throwing King under the bus
  4. I don’t think we would have the financial mismanagement we have seen in the last 3 or 4 years and the massive disconnect between the club and the fanbase
  5. No the 6 point deduction due to the financial irresponsibility and mismanagement by the owner and his senior team is what will send us down.
  6. I am not criticising Rowett and fair play to him for the 2nd half performance but I didn’t think it was transformational and overall yet again another game of 2 very different halves. Speaks more that he has got a massive task on his hands to get any sort of consistency out of this group.
  7. 2nd half was much better but we have played well for 45 minutes in so many games this season, however that 1st half was appalling and we could have been 3 down. Nice to see a good reaction at half time but we have drawn to a an injury ravaged Stoke side and only bothered to turn up for 45 minutes. There are some positives but a long long way to go.
  8. 1st half was a disgrace, however fair play Rowett got a reaction in the 2nd half but make no mistake we were lucky not to be 3 down at half time to a depleted Stoke side who should have been there for the taking. Whilst we by and far and away the better team in the 2nd half once we got in front we had to close out the win. Lots of positives from the 2nd half but let’s not think we are home and hosed, it’s far from it as this was a very poor and injury ravaged Stoke side. There was 3 points for the taking and we have blown it.
  9. Disgusting performance, complete lack of energy and intensity, this was a bad as anything under Cifuentes, this squad are literally throwing the whole club and fanbase under the bus. Is there anybody prepared to stick up for Aiyawatt, Rudkin, Glover or this squad any longer this is an insult to Leicester City Football Clubs 142 year history, this current mob are an absolute 💩 stain on the club, they are taking the piss and putting the entire future of the club at risk. Get the lot gone tonight. Had my fill of each and every one of them.
  10. He does it every time, gutless and sums up this squad
  11. What the actual feck was that corner
  12. This is disgraceful looks like they have downed tools. There is a large group of players that have premier league experience absolutely stinking out the championship. We don’t do the basics and show nothing when it comes to doing the dirty work. Hate this group of players absolute bunch of willy pullers
  13. Wow this is woeful, I honestly thought we would come out all guns blazing with some sort of renewed energy and focus and yet more of the same in fact this worse than anything served up under Kingy
  14. No Abdul or Ayew in the matchday squad, Thomas on the bench ……Winks back which is a bit meh but let’s see.
  15. The problem is so many is our fanbase are unwilling to acknowledge the decline or apportion accountability and responsibility to Aiyawatt and Rudkin because they have been gaslighted by the snippets and sound bites that we were trying to challenge the big 6 and we had some success for a few years. The infatuation with refusing to criticise KP in any shape or form, based on how we were run 5/6 years ago rather than the here and now is unreal, as a consequence of being so well in with KP, Rudkin gets pretty much a free ride because as soon as there is any kind of focus or pressure applied its is very quickly quashed by the KP supporters, it is literally a cult and it’s very disturbing to see the lengths they will go to protect a failing regime who may just take us to a place where liquidation is a very serious and likely scenario.
  16. Great thread, we are not season ticket holders as it’s a 250 mile + round trip for us however we do get to a handful of home games and some more local away games where possible. I have a 16 year old lad who is also an LCFC so the opportunity to go to games has always been special to me as a bit of quality family time and bonding. We have 3 tickets for the Stoke game and yesterday was chatting with my lad when he let it slip in his own words - ‘Dad I am really not arsed about watching them on Saturday I have never felt so disconnected it doesn’t feel like our club anymore’ I am gutted, not with how he feels, as I completely understand it and I feel the same, but more that Aiyawatt, Rudkin and a lot of the mercenaries that make up our squad have managed to kill his love and enthusiasm for the club. I really hope they wake up and smell the coffee soon before it’s too late, as they are not only at risk of killing our club but in the event it somehow does survive, losing a large proportion of the next generation of LCFC fans 🥲
  17. In regards to your 2nd paragraph the awful thing is there will be KPFC supporters who will praise Top and Rudkin for bringing in Rowett to save the season whilst ignoring the fact and reasons why we are where we are.
  18. If we go bust it isn’t because of PSR it’s because we have been run into the ground by people who think paying over 100% of our revenue in wages and losing circa £200m in 3 years was sound business …..
  19. Or is it the other way round and the premier league have appealed as a response to hearing we were going to appeal
  20. Stolarcyzk Aluko Okoli Nelson Riccy P Skipp Aribo Mavididi Fatawu Mukasa Daka Subs Begovic Gray Thomas or VK Winks Page Richards Monga BDCR Ayew
  21. Let’s make one thing abundantly clear it should not and will not be Gary Rowetts fault if we end up in league one, look no further than Aiyawatt and Rudkin and their -6 contribution
  22. Steady and relative safe pair of hands given the circumstances, very much in the mould when we appointed Nigel Worthington. Hopefully by hook or by crook we stay up because the consequences of relegation terrifies me.
  23. Including interim appointments but excluding caretakers we are now onto our 7th manager in 2 years ……….. we have gone from Rodgers and Enzo to Cooper, Cifuentes and now Rowett, and yet some still say trust KP to learn or give them time to get it right. The last 3 permanent managers have been sacked within 6 months that is appalling recruitment and demonstrates a complete lack of forward planning and strategic thinking. We are literally another 12 months away from welcoming Steve Bruce or Steve Evans through the door under this ownership. Absolutely horrendous and gives me zero hope or confidence that they will ever recover the situation here.
  24. I am clinging to the hope that this is the beginning of a phased Rudkin exit, let’s hope the new guy is appointed with a view to giving Rudkin a transitioned departure. I reckon he will be gone in the next 6-12 months. I actually think it will have been of his own choosing as well.
