  1. Makes you wonder if they feel keeping Ruud is a good option to force a good few of the likes of Winks, Vesty etc out of the club, however if they are backing him then it seems strange they haven’t told him to at least give him chance to blood some younger players such as Aluko, Cartwright, Monga, Evans etc before the end of the season in readiness for next season.
  2. Top may not sack Rudkin but doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t be ‘moved’ or if some rumours are true that he steps aside of his own choosing.
  3. Imagine the outrage if we lose and some of our deluded fanbase don’t clap them off. Top will be very very very angry and upset and will issue a very strong statement saying how ungrateful everybody is.
  4. Kaine Kesler -Hayden from Aston Villa can play both right and left side full back, just been voted player of the season on loan at Preston, would be a great addition to the squad if end up moving on a few of our current full backs, as highly likely we could shift Riccy P, JJ, VK and even Coulibaly I would be happy with this lad, Luke Thomas, Joseph and Aluko providing our full back options for next season.
  5. I do wonder if the decision makers at the club, Top, Rudkin, Whelan, Glover and the manager discuss player valuations and maximum wage caps for transfer targets, because it all seems so scattergun and disconnected I recall the story of Islam Slimani where Steve Walsh said do not pay anymore than £15m for Rudders to go out and spend double that on the player. it does make me wonder if this is still the case, £20m + on Skipp, £100k per week to Coady, £80k per week to Soumare and Daka, there are countless examples of where we have seemingly overpaid on fees and/or wages to secure a player at almost any cost and you have to question how much joined up thinking is going into our negotiations or is Rudkin just left to negotiate and land targets with no guidance from elsewhere as to placing ceilings on valuations etc and prioritising how we best spend the budget we have. Which is why we always get to January and realise the cupboard is bare and we are then floundering around in June to sell a player to try and recover our PSR position. It’s like we are literally winging it.
  6. Just imagine if we had to sell him to get the club out of a PSR mess in June, basically sacrificed to cover signings such as Skipp, BDCR, Ayew and Eduoard…..it makes you fecking weep the level of mismanagement at the club and yet still people defend what is happening and could happen due to the poor decisions continually being made by the top brass.
  7. Is that how you ‘came’ by your username, excuse the pun 😂
  8. Absolutely brilliant episode again fellas, you should be really proud of what you produce week in week out, no ego’s no gimmicks just good entertaining and knowledgeable content, really engaging stuff, love it 👏🏼👏🏼
  9. Using that logic Steve Cooper is a better manager than the Bournemouth manager which he clearly isn’t.
  10. I think we were linked with Woodman a year or two ago. Could see Woodman to us and Iversen going to PNE both on frees.
  11. I actually don’t want a manager who is fixated on one way of playing, you need to be flexible, in a lot of games we will need to have the ability to control the game, in others we may be better suited to playing a more counter attacking style. However what I do want to see week in week out is a team that plays with intensity and some tactical flexibility.
  12. The issue I have is with our piss poor judgement when it comes to finances, I have no issue in paying big wages if you are talking about players of the class of Vardy, Kante, Mahrez, Schmichael etc but what has massively tripped us up is where we have thrown out big hefty contracts and massive wedge to utter pony like Skipp, Winks, Coady, Vesty, Daka, Soumare even the Eduarod loan just shows how rather than pay our player based on their own worth we have almost accepted that all players should be on £70k minimum just to get them through the door. That to me highlights the failings and shortcomings of the likes of Top and Rudkin. We have some decent recent history of success, we have a decent stadium and a world class training facility, we could and should be attracting top drawer young EFL talent and young talent from abroad, where we can pay relatively respectable wages but also have a high sell on opportunity. we do seem to have a real blind spot when it comes to signing established players, we usually get it very wrong and over pay either in fee and/or wages and contracts.
  13. Farke wouldn’t be my first choice but would much prefer over options such as Martin and Dyche.
  14. Are you Jon Rudkin and the shipment was it Adrien Silva 😂
  15. I disagree a proven premier league striker that is used as impact sub and occasional rotation would still be effective and score goals at maybe a £5m signing fee and £100l per week but would be max £10m outlay. You won’t get many proven strikers for that low cost, it’s a no brainer to teams like Wolves, Everton, West Ham, Villa, Newcastle etc to secure a very good back up striker.
  16. Is today going to be the day ……
  17. Not saying I am right just my opinion.
  18. Just my thoughts/opinion but If we are ‘sold’ it will most likely to be another Thai business / owner, I have a sneaky feeling that Top and King Power are more like custodians of the club and we are effectively owned by Thailand, therefore we will be ‘passed’ over to the next custodian to control us on their behalf.
  19. Took Cercle from the relegation places to the play offs and a 6th place finish in his first season and then in second season he guided them into the playoffs and European qualification, given the job he has done at Plymouth as well, I would rather see us go down this route with a manager with a higher ceiling than go down a tried and tested safe option of a Russell Martin or Sean Dyche.
  20. it’s a strange one for Top to fly into London when there is no game, suggests something maybe happening, I do wonder if the club kept Ruud for the Wolves game knowing it would likely be a tough place to get a result and instead give the caretaker team which will highly likely include Andy King a home game vs Southampton as an opportunity to raise positivity and some sort of result which will raise spirits and gain some momentum and confidence going into the final 3 games of the season and into post season.
  21. Miron Muslic at Plymouth although they have been relegated he performed superbly in the time he has been there, he has won 1.4 points per game and over a 46 game season would have had them in 12th, when he took them over from Rooney the damage had been done, he also masterminded the FA Cup victory against Liverpool. Only 42 years old, and with Championship experience under his belt I think this would be a really exciting appointment.
  22. If only the first team had this level of fight in them what a comeback
