Most of the players are past it or the odd two like Bilal and Mads that are above the level will get sold to a bigger club. The only player I can think that doesn't fall into either category is Mavididi, and a few of the young prospects like Alves, Nelson may help in the championship.

Have we turned down £8-£10 mil for Kasey Mcateer? Bizarre he isn't of the standard we need for at least the next 18 months regardless of the division we are in next season, get some money in and sign a player that can help in the next 3 months!!

I think we may have the same points total, we may have managed draws at Crystal palace and Fulham games but we wouldn't have beat West Ham.

If we combine the value of Winks and Skipp currently, what we saying £25 mil, we have paid £8 mil + 20 mil and £5 mil potential add ones, so £28 mil currently, we have overpaid but put like that and Winks did help last season. The main issue is CM is probably the strongest position we have and we should of got someone else from Spurs a full back, centre back or Striker, if Skipp was some sort of artificially high fee to balance out Winks transfer.

Some of the build up play looks better, but we aren't created real quality chances, we have scored some great goals this season but they are usually individual quality. Why we can't score the first goal troubles me, after the triple change we looked good for 10 minutes why can't we ever start like that, give the crowd something to get behind.

He played 31 games for Spurs 4 years ago and was competing in the CL. It's not ability, since then he has played 15, 19 and 20 league game seasons. Last season going from that to 45 league games, he almost played as much last season as the previous 3. I think he is the sort of player that should play 15-20 games a season at premiership level, he's coming to his physical peak at 28, injuries have obviously set him back look how much they set Jack Wiltshire back both similar in that there best years were in their early 20s. I do think the wages we have offered him is crazy ( he hasn't really had to play at the level required this season for what 3 years), it's a 50/50 for me on whether he gets to the level required but I'd say that with Mavididi, Kristensen, Vestegaard, Faes, it's where we are at.

Frustrating would have been the injury, he's training in a PL team and learning everyday, I think he probably learns more in training than he would out on loan in league 1 or two. If the right championship loan can be found however...

Ruud got 4 points in first 2 league games for united, Amorim got 4 points in first 2 league games for united and Ruud got 4 points in 2 league games for Leicester. Since then Amorim has 4 points in 7 games and Ruud has 0 points in 5 games. It's official the newbie bounce is 2 games.

I watched the 3 minute highlights of yesterday and thought how different could that game have been yesterday, if Mavididi gets a respectable shot on target with the chance before there goal. I'd say Bilal is probably more aware when Coady heads it back for Barkley's goal if we are leading 1-0 rather it just being 0-0.

I was hoping for a narrow Fulham win and that's still on the table they were 1-0 down v Chelsea with what 5 or 10 minutes to go. A narrow win means Ipswich don't get any points and we should go into the home game upcoming v Fulham believing we can win.

The championship sucks be patient its a 3-4 year plan to get us up the table, when that happens we will be on the TV more but as it is, I'd rather we are on the TV in the future when we have a chance of winning games as apposed to watching us play Preston, Millwall and Bristol City

There's a lot more football to play, yes had we beat them the gap would of been bigger, but there's a lot of football to play, half a season, way to early to be looking at other results, let's get on track for the next 10-12 games and hopefully we don't need to be bothered about other teams.
