Not £1 until the ownership changes

So ungrateful. It’ll be a long time before she buys you anything again🤨 -
Can’t believe Muzzy never won!

Tribute to Vardy totally takes priority over booing the rest of the players. Relegation is done and there’s one more home game before JV farewell to boo your heart out.
-
That moment sums up that season. Spectacular and joyous. Against a top team too. Should never have lost out to goal of the month/season? to Dele Ali. His was deflected. But of course it was Spurs. Perhaps it was a sympathy vote.

Not even to bid farewell to the GOAT? You need to change your display name. I wouldn’t miss it for anything. It’s been a pleasure and at times hilarious, watching a player who engages with the fans so much. He’s a throwback to the days of tough battles against an opponent, where both are giving everything and enjoy that close combat style of play. There are so many petulant whinges these days it’s refreshing to have that aggression. Good luck Jamie and thanks so much for the memories.

Far too easily knocked off the ball.

Thanks everyone.

Can somebody please enlighten me as to how players are acquired. Does the manager say I want so and so, try and get him; does he say I want a striker/CB and is presented with a list of 3 or 4 to choose from, or does he have no say at all.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Who was DOF when we won the league? -
Did I say he was a world beater? With better coaching and experience, he could be adequate for us next season as left back is not our priority. Very few teams have wingers who should cause many problems. He is a confidence player and hopefully will get that with the more matches he plays. Btw, you’re very patronising and a bit of a know-all.
-
Sir/Miss, completely understood what you said in the English exam. Don’t see the relevance as to when it was written. He showed on Sunday that he can play but needs to do that consistently next season. In the PL, teams’ best players are often the wingers and therefore the FBs are exposed greatly. Probably not the case in the Championship. (Did I get a good grade)?
-
He played very well yesterday against probably the toughest player you can be up against. Why can’t you acknowledge that? I sit in front of a fan who constantly berates players, last year it was KDH. His main comment yesterday? Oh my God, if Luke Thomas is our best player, how crap must we be?. Couldn’t bring himself to accept that he played well.

Liverpool (H) - Pre-Match Thread (20th April)
OnlyOneCity replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Small consolation, that the fickle “supporters” on here who are now haters of Leicester City, won’t bother commenting on the forum next season as hopefully they cba to do so. -

Unfortunately, a number of posters on here have done that. They can’t wait to get shot of him. Absolutely disgraceful and shows a lack of respect and football knowledge. I just hope he never reads this forum and that those who have dissed him on here, stay away from his last game. -

We could be down tomorrow if we lose at Brighton and Wolves beat Spurs. We will only be able to get the same points with a massively inferior goal difference.

You really are boring. The trouble with version the fans sing is that it’s sung too quickly, is almost incoherent and out of tune. The race to get to the end is silly. At least with the JB song, it’s sung in unison by the majority of the crowd . There is currently an advert on the telly which plays the Frank Sinatra version. Now that is the one which would be sung in a care home
-
The players apparently like it and sang it in the dressing room after they won promotion last year. You seem to be flogging a dead horse.
-
Judging by the response when it’s played I would say it was very popular. Listen to Colin Murray’s podcast about Football Club songs featuring City. Very interesting.

Season Ticket Renewal Deadline Shut

Twist it how you like. A lot of the posts are ignoring the emotional pull of supporting City. If you feel that, it will always be difficult to just stop going. -

Perversely, according to many on this forum, you’re not a supporter if you do renew as “you’re part of the problem”. Do you actually think that by not renewing it’s going to make everything fine? If it makes those who haven’t renewed, feel better, then that’s fine too. Look at how many protests over the years that Man Utd.; Newcastle and Spurs fans have made. Ashley took all sorts of abuse before he went but left when he was ready and not before. The other 2 teams owners are still there. I support the team first and foremost. The fact that the money goes to King Power is irrelevant. It was going to them when we won the league and cup. Just acknowledge that the majority have renewed for reasons of their own and are not influenced by people trying to put them down for doing so and bringing out the Happy Clapper tosh and “you’re to blame” rubbish. -

So true. Plus they seem to be looking for anyone in the crowd with the remotest claim to celebrity status. You’re then left thinking “who the hell is that”. -

There goes that lazy sentence again “You’re part of the problem”. Why, because we want to continue supporting a team we’ve followed for decades? Like said previously, current crop of players and board will be gone long before we stop supporting the team. You want to boycott, do so, I don’t.
