  1. So you’re famous. Good for you.
  2. The confidence and belief of both fans and players is shot to pieces. We need each other and Monday’s match needs a mutual boost from us all. Although we should have been a couple of matches from promotion by now, we are not. It’s still in our hands. Lots of truthful comments have been made about the style of play and no apparent desire by the manager to change it just a bit. This is OUR team and we should want to make sure we leave nothing out there on Monday. For those of you who have decided that you can’t be arsed anymore, stay at home and keep your apathy to yourself. Why have Norwich suddenly become so unbeatable?
  3. Watford Leeds?
  4. Apart from probably not fully understanding the financial details of it all, how do you know they’re not absolutely livid? Not all fans post on FT. Doesn’t mean they don’t have an opinion.
  5. What makes you think the fans you have such distaste for, are not up for the fight?
  6. Not intended like that at all. We all have to stand because everyone else is because we all want to. There’s nobody shouting for anyone to sit down.
  7. So 68,000 home fans going mental looks more impressive than 6000 away fans. How could that happen?,! I don’t know where you sit at KP but we always have to stand when there’s a pen. I think you enjoy putting down our own fans are too quick to big up opposition fans.
  8. A couple of seasons ago, Chelsea were signing players on 8 year contracts. This apparently was so they could spread the cost over those 8 years. Whoever is in charge of overseeing the financial side of football, we’re supposed to be looking into this with a view to stopping this practice.
  9. Check your response to my earlier message where you made it personal.
  10. Having passion for your club doesn’t mean it’s only shown by being vocal. This is part of it of course, but making the effort to put yourself out financially, time wise, travel wise just to watch them play, is as far as I’m concerned, showing passion and commitment. I love LCFC and have done for the past 60 years. I don’t envisage this ever stopping. I would only put myself through these trials and tribulations for my immediate family. I see the King Power stadium and Filbert St. before that, as my spiritual homes. My passion for them is all consuming and I don’t acknowledge judgmental views from someone who thinks that being passionate means singing throughout the match. As it happens, I do support them vocally .
  11. There is no quarterback position in a football team,
  12. Some have asked why more don’t join in. When you’re singing about whoever being a c***, at the tube station and in the ground, and nobody joins in, perhaps you might ask why. This is still a word that is a no no for many. It also shows a lack of class, creativity and is an embarrassment for fellow fans.
  13. I believe Reguillon was sent off against Burnley yesterday for a foul in the box, denying scoring opportunity but couldn’t understand why he had the double jeopardy of penalty and sending off. Though that had been stopped. Wasn’t a bad tackle.
  14. The way Cov are playing right now, augurs well for them to be taking points off Leeds and Ipswich at home. They look odds on for Play Offs.
  15. Wasn’t this “FernandesTime” when every time anyone went near him he went down rolling round in agony and getting numerous free kicks/penalties?
  16. You’d be listening to a programme on a Saturday afternoon, when there would suddenly be a pause, then the goal horn would sound before they gave the score details. All very exciting.
  17. I’m concerned that refs. at Elland Rd. will be intimidated by the crowd. They seem to have a knee jerk reaction to anything the crowd doesn’t like and book opposition players and give free kicks to Leeds like sweeties. James is one of the worst divers in the league and will regularly get free kicks or penalties. The media love Leeds for some reason so never question dodgy decisions .
  18. Sorry but that phrase isn’t relevant. So many people on here are certain that Leeds and Ipswich are going to win all remaining matches. We gained a point on Ipswich today in a tough match. We don’t need to rely on other teams as such, just equal or better what they are doing. It’s been a long tough season, if we just crawl over the line then so be it. Promotion is the aim, no matter by how many points. Other matches are relevant and if you can’t see that then you have no logic.
  19. Before you start writing City off, do you realise that both Leeds and Ipswich have to go to Cov. Not guaranteed wins by any means. Cov going for for playoffs.
  20. Good thing we won as negativity would have been off the scale. For the vast majority of the season we have dominated teams and until yesterday were top goal scorers. Yes we look to be struggling to keep getting the points and last night ‘s win , no matter how unconvincing, was crucial. Let’s worry about next season in the PL, when we get there. The ref. last night was poor but what a relief to know that when he said no penalty, we knew there wouldn’t be a check. Another tough match on Saturday, but right now, I’ll settle for another scrappy win. Up the City
  21. Albrighton puts in various crosses. He puts them in on the run so that the defenders are more likely to not connect properly. At the moment, our wingers are coming inside and putting in crosses which the defenders can see clearly and have time to deal with.
  22. Hope you don’t win any more on City’s losses. Too much venom going on right now. The other teams also have some tricky matches and our goal difference is like an extra point. Come on City.
