Yep. It turned out Feb through to Mar 2020 wasn't an ideal time for an Asian cruise! It ended up as a bit of a mystery tour, as we're were declined in a few ports. We were very fortunate the UAE had closed ports but gave us special dispensation to dock, disembark and get home. And, a few days later the UK was in lockdown! It's booked but we've not organised it. It's booked with imagine cruising. A 7 night tour from Shanghai, Xian for the bullet train and then to Beijing. Fly to Hong Kong, sail to Vietnam and Singapore. Fly to Delhi for a 7 night tour in India ( also supposed to visit there in Feb 2020 too 🙄).

I was booked for February 2020. Which, wasn't ideal! Now going for a week in October 2025, tour from Shanghai to Beijing and some other places I can't recall. Probably too late to help you though, I'm sorry.

No, the EV was just an independent purchase and came with a charger, so we didn't get that through them either - not sure if we're on their 'best' customer list, especially as nearly all of our electric consumption is now on the 7p rate

Thanks, yes, I read through your diary thread. If the outlay was only a little above the cost of a gas boiler, I'd be more interested. But, having recently invested many ££ in solar panels and a EV I feel I've made an environmentally friendly contribution and, at this point, need to be short term personal finance friendly. My gas bill is £800 approx, so, I don't think we are heavy users. Recouping the cost would take a good few years. I have filled in a form for a couple of local companies to could come and do a survey at the house. I just wondered if anyone other than you had committed to a ASHP.
-
Has anyone installed a ASHP cost effectively under the Gov grant? Our gas boiler maybe nearing the end of its life, we filled in the Octopus survey for a ASHP and they came back with a quote of about £7k, on top of the grant. Not a realistic option if I can replace the boiler for £2k. Although, it was a very vague survey, it didn't incorporate that we already have a water cylinder etc. Curious if anyone has installed a ASHP without a £15k cost.

It wasn't over when we were bottom of the table at Christmas 2014 or still 7 points adrift in March. We're one point off Wolves. It's not even the mid point of the season. It's far from over.

There's a Colville in Essex, general consensus is it was that one not LE67.

That could've been an overwhelming experience as a PL debut, did well. Didn't look overwhelmed or nervous. Defense seemed to have confidence in him, too.

Looks playable. Unfortunately.

Starting next Sunday, at a rough guess

An inform Man City could have a detrimental impact on our GD. Everton can't be relegated but it would be nice if they look in the mix
-
Really don't want Man City regaining form prior to playing us. Really don't want Everton picking up points.

Money, box of maltesers, and a few packets of Fisherman’s Friends. Parents get me this every year. 2 x Toblerone from the dog. Perfect.

Both Wallace and Gromit and Gavin & Stacey were excellent.

A portable tv, colour and with a remote control. Unprecedented in the early 80's. A few friends had really small black and white ones for their bedrooms but I'd never contemplated asking for one. Still remember the shock opening it. I was only 11 or 12 but had I that tv for a good 25 years +

I guess it depends on your plans and what you've bought. It's just the two of us, except for Christmas lunch when my parents will visit. We only start the Christmas food on Christmas Day. But, we don't actually buy a massive amount of it anyway. If you're having lots of guests over the festive period, you can't eat it before they arrive or its a bit awkward 😬

My new boots did keep my feet as warm as the advert promised. So, at least I wasn't chronically miserable for 90 minutes with cold feet.
-
I think it might be busy in here over Christmas. Can somebody get some mince pies
-
True but equally we don't want to give too much away to the opposition. I'd be more inclined to believe RVN is playing his cards close rather than the Brendan lying strategy.
-
No. Just moved as we can't play at the same time as Tigers.

Tigers are at home and on TV.

As a ST holder, I've received two emails, an initial one and a reminder, asking me to complete it. -
Annoyingly correct.

Closing the pop up just gives me a sign up page. That just returns an error.
