  2. The Week In Review Sunday: that points deduction may cost us promotion Midweek: points deduction? Saturday: that points deduction may cost us the drop
  3. New levels of brainless. And it's not even Faes
  4. They are paying him, but didn't buy him. Only LCFC would buy him and pay him AND then renew his contract.
  5. No question.
  6. Always a red letter day for the Browns when they empty the jails.
  7. How did Dennis Praet look on Sunday?
  8. NEW SPECIES DISPLAYED AT KING POWER The “Giant Danish Ground Sloth” and “Belgian Shaggy” were on view at the King Power Donkey Show earlier today. Morphologically, the Danish is midway between a giraffe and a donkey. It combines a plodding gait with a complete lack of agility. Unable to leave the ground, it can nonetheless head-butt the crossbar. Bemused home fans were treated to the unlikely sight of this creature shinning the ball over the goal line. The Belgian appeared a more athletic species, although unable to comprehend the instructions of its handlers. It put another one across the line off its luxuriant curls. Despite the largest display of full-blooded donkeys in many years, only these two were able to score.
  9. CAN WE BEAT TEN MAN WEDNESDAY AT HOME?
  10. New Season New Manager Same old arguing about the crap in our midfield COYF 🦊
  11. Soumare should’ve been given the 86.
  12. I don't bear any ill will. They've done an amazing job so far, bringing in new fans instead of gambling sponsors. But ... it's been humming along so far like movie sequels, all with happy endings. Their new fans will be gobsmacked by the reality of life in a tough, tough league when they are not going in with one of the best squads. I should know ... my first two seasons following LCFC, I was treated to the Great Escape and then the unthinkable. I had a lot to learn, and this club made damned sure I learned it.
  13. Real life is going to hit the Hollywood bandwagon like a runaway train this season.
  14. Are you kidding? These are the same fans who started building little shrines the day they signed him.
  15. Article in the Athletic today made it pretty clear that Textor is another chancer whose reach far exceeds his financial grasp. His backers are losing money and lawyering up. Not sure he could show Chansiri enough real money to get Wednesday.
  16. They rolled into town with a “who are these guys” lineup tonight and couldn’t even win behind Joe Ryan. Trouble is, Minnesota got rid of most of the guys who can actually play. This would be like us getting rid of Vardy, BEK and Hermansen and keeping Vestergaard, Reid, Soumare and… oh wait.
  17. I may have to offer my immortal soul to the Evil One if he can just have Wrexham start that pair on 30 September.
  18. Well, Blue Jays fans, you just got a rental of our last Cy Young winner for a decent AA pitching prospect. IF he can come all the way back from his Tommy John surgery by October, you won the deal.
  19. 2.5 Rather conveniently, I'm falling out of love with football at the same time as those in charge all but demand we fall out of love with LCFC. Despite horrific results and the destruction of hundreds of millions of pounds in value, the same people remain in the same jobs making the same (incredibly obvious) mistakes. So there really is no hope for anything but ongoing decline, as the last of what Khun Vichai built (squad, club reputation, goodwill) stays left out in the sun to melt. But we'll always have the nicest building in football. An old truism about family wealth is that the first generation makes it, the next generation consolidates it, and the third generation, spoiled from childhood, pisses it away. Our owners seem to have skipped a generation. If you haven't been going down the Filbo/KP for years with your family and/or mates, how do you maintain keen interest in a shitshow? I'll probably be able to watch two or three matches per month and that ought to be enough for me
  20. Looking forward to Southampton's visit in February.
  21. I had a nightmare about watching a side of Demarai Gray clones trying to attack. Then I realized I was awake and watching the England women.
  22. With default on the horizon, Top is selling to Macquarie Bank, who plan to run the club, and will appoint Nigel Pearson as DoF. Jon Rudkin will be taking his talents to Sydney to run their satellite club in the new Australian second division. Hope that's juicy enough.
