We need a world class winger. All the 'big" clubs have one, some even two and they all chip in with goals/assists. If we want to be a 'big' club then it's what we need. Another striker and a new left back (at the end of the season) will be needed aswell, but that's for another day.

I'm sure Whitlow is working at Mansfield now within their under 21's. He was at burton as a coach for a while before.

The arrogance of united/Woodward is unbearable. To put a deadline on an offer for maguire which is STILL under our asking price just shows how far up it's own a***hole the club is.

It was on transfer talk last week on ssn. Maguire apparently "idolises Ferdinand and vidic" and they they went on to say "Maguire's love for united" may sway him to join them. Basically making out shes a massive united fan.

Rodgers and the rest of the players will be in his ear now encouraging him to stay. One more year to show him that we can offer European football, if not than let him go. Would love us to accept a bid for him to turn around and say "nah" and stay for at least another season.

I think the top 4 is still slightly out of our reach for next season. I think Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal will qualify for the Champions League with Man Utd, Chelsea, us and Wolves battling for 5th-8th. I'm not writing us off completely because looking at it, we have a very, very good squad and with a few big additions we could push further, but the top 2 will be the same, with Spurs and Arsenal improving from this season I.m.o.

I think a right back is priority. Pereira looks better and a lot more effective further up the field and it will take Amartay a while to get back to full match fitness.
