I think the nature of the leaving with it being a surprise, along with potential points deductions and lack of spending is why people are looking for the safe short term options like Moyes. Whether he would want to come in and do that job is anyone's guess, but I can see why some are leaning towards a short term fix.

Patience. It'll happen.

I think the Kompany and Enzo moves are of course linked to Pep, but probably more taking the gamble now due to how Arsenal have done with Arteta. It's proved scalable. The miss there though is that Arsenal have a great recruitment set up.

I don't know why anyone would wish him well tbh. Thanks for getting us up, did a decent job, think we can agree on that but...leaving after a year for one of the most dislikeable clubs in the country. Nah, will enjoy it very much if it all goes tits up.
-
Wonder if he'll work with what he's got there or they'll go on a summer shopping spree. Their approach to transfers recently has been very scattergun, whereas Enzo's system requires laser focus.

Walker-Peters has been excellent

I suspect the group you mention probably do have more issues if forced through that route as everything is maybe just less familiar. Even then though STs make up the bulk of people trying to get in, and the vast majority of those apparently had a card.

Think the issues with mobile tickets are being exaggerated to be honest. I have seen people have issues but they're usually pulled out the queue to sort. Also the figures showed around 1600 mobile tickets? Can't be causing that much chaos with those numbers.

Potter seems to fit on a few terms: fairly safe pair of hands, good experience, will want to play possession football, has a point to prove. I agree that there's probably a ceiling on how far he could take us but I don't think we're near enough to that for it to be a concern. He may wait for England though. Could do with Howe getting the sack from Newcastle.

Points deduction will be for breach in the 3 year period ending with our relegation unfortunately.
-
Sure. But I'd guess we've been identifying players who fit this system, which now may change. I'd like to think we're organised enough to pivot quickly but it's a bit of a blindside. May also affect who we want to sell?
-
Yeh but maybe 18th now rather than 20th 😂. To be fair I don't rate either of the managers in the playoff final. But this noise and upheaval around us and Ipswich does feel like we start on the back foot.
-
This is all excellent news for whoever wins the playoff final on Sunday. Need it sorted quick so we can plan our transfer strategy.
-
Feel like Enzo's system could work well with the teams at either Chelsea or Brighton to be fair. And similarly McKenna is a good cultural fit at Utd, though he'd need time to sort out the mess of a squad.
-
Whilst I agree with this generally, footballers must expect a bit of this. What is the lifespan of a manager these days? Also footballer moves generally come with a move across the country to a degree, so don't think there's would be any sort of exodus. I'd prefer him to stay but I don't think it's boom or bust either way.

Apparently they had been moving Cucurella into the middle in possession recently and had a lot of success with it. Having said that I'm not sure it is linked to the Enzo rumours as I'm not sure the Chelsea higher ups are that smart. It could work for him there, it's not too outrageous a shout. I think "the system" will naturally work better with better players. But they're a bit of a basket case. For us I think it's simple, if there's a release clause, Chelsea want him, and he wants Chelsea, then it happens. The one thing we really must avoid is offering him a big contract to counter the offers. I do hope he remains with us though. There'll be a good few incomings this summer, again more who can fit the type that Enzo wants, and I think it would do him well to prove he can keep a club like us up.
-
Norwich ****ed it first leg. Wagner thought he could just keep it 0-0 until deep into this game when they should have been looking at taking a lead to Elland Rd. They don't look a good side at all here.
-
28 year old who goes by "Sammie"; it's a no from me.
-
I think there's a decent chance he stays to be honest. Think we'll see what offers come in and if none meet the valuation then we don't sell, don't see us being worried by EFL PSR breach given lack of trying to adhere on previous years. We'll argue that the Barnes sale, lack of purchases in Jan, etc was us getting house in order and a wage problem is a slower ship to turn around. Add in the fact that there is an international tournament starting which will slow all the transfer activity down, I think there's an underestimated chance that he remains a Leicester player next season.
-
I like him and think he's got a decent future here but he does need game time for development. If we were loaning him out I'd be seeing if Burnley are interested, see how he fares in a similar system, though they have their own young strikers to develop too.
-
But worried that we even offered him a contract to be honest.
-
17th is the target. Anything else is a bonus. 17th and a sensible spending summer sets the foundation for progress.

VAR proving to be terrible again. It's funny because it's Utd but that was a fair goal. Henderson so weak. Edit: apologies wrong thread for this really.

Is it even in our gift to announce his re-signing at this point given the embargo? May be we are waiting until that passes to confirm anything.
