You’ll be fine. Years ago you would be treated like a leper for not dressing up on the formal nights (and years and years ago there were 3 dress codes that you had to follow). Nowadays the P&O ships are big enough, and society in general more relaxed, that you won’t feel uncomfortable with being underdressed. The ships all have a pub type bar and casual dining restaurant options that will have a mix and match of dressed up/not dressed up people on the formal nights. There are signs outside some of the posher bars reminding people that it’s a formal night and there is an expectation that you’d comply. But plenty of options that you don’t need to worry. A two week cruise will typically have 3 or 4 formal nights and for many it’s a big part of the tradition of cruising. Aurora is probably the stuffiest of the fleet, and even that’s not too bad. If you tried not dressing up on a Cunard ship you’d likely get keelhauled, though. 😬 For info, we’ve got three booked this year - One Cunard one next month and a couple with P&O. Tux and sparkly frocks will be packed (I’ll let you decide which one is mine)!

Echo San Lorenzo church. I’ve been to Naples a few times and prefer Herculaneum to Pompeii - less crowded and (for me) more interesting. Easy to get to on the train as well. Enjoy - mad place!

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Milo replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Well that looks like it was written by a petulant sixth former. And I’m not sure many fans have actually acted with disbelief, either. More a resigned weariness at the predictability of it all. Anyway, he’s demanded answers. So let’s see. -

And c) promoted -
Of course - but the issue is that the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, etc have always spent beyond their means due to their ownership investment. They’ve had that advantage. And they got to the top doing this. And now the rules have changed and nobody else can do this anymore. It doesn’t make much sense to me. I would say new owners should be able to buy a club, spend whatever the fvck they want for, say, two years/4 transfer windows to challenge the cartel. And then, once they’ve achieved parity, have to fall in line with financial guidelines. Would be much fairer. Doesn’t much help our situation, though

Leicester 1-0 Sunderland Post Match Thread.

Fvck me, that was a hard watch. I’m not a huge Fatawu fan, but he was immense this evening. I’d love us to put a really strong boot on the neck of our opponents when we’re ahead, but it doesn’t seem like we have the make up to do it. Onwards, and (slightly nervously) upwards -
Just stumbled across an episode of Kenny Everett’s Video Show. (Ask your parents, kids). Probably from 1979, judging by the music on there. Enjoyed it way more than I probably should. Happy.

Haha. Actually when I was working at sea there was definitely a 'right way' and a 'wrong way' to sail - especially when doing full world voyages. The wrong way you would lose an hours sleep most nights due to the clocks changing, and then gain a day when your reached a specific time zone. The right way meant you had an extra hour in bed most days and 'lost' a day at some point...but obviously still got paid!

Tiny Rebel End Game at the Green Dragon in South Croydon. They had some really delicious beers on, and this one was lovely. But, honestly, the fvcking look of it… 😬

I’ve seen this and actually really want to try it. People dragging up guns and grenades and all sorts of fun stuff! I used to do quite a bit of metal detectoring (yeah, I know), but really enjoyed it. Never found anything hugely valuable, but always fun to dig up stuff that may otherwise be forever hidden.

I might swing by on the way to work tomorrow then, with my net. See what/who I can catch. I was always crap at those hook a duck things at the fair...this looks way easier

Thames search for Abdul Ezedi finds two bodies ...But neither are the one that they are actually looking for. Anyone else think that's really weird?
