Chelsea fans are furious, they aren’t on board so a few bad results and it will be carnage there very quickly.
-
Enzo what did you find attractive about that basket case Chelsea and the £25m contract
-
To be fair the club nailed their colours to the passing mast with Puel, Rodgers and Maresca. I think they will stick to that.
-
Can we remember we are going to get a points deduction, likely to either sell players, or not buy anyone… maybe both. (Or just ignore FFP). We are not an attractive proposition to anyone who could get another prem job like your Potters, Moyes etc. We are only be attractive to a flop, who nobody wants. A foreign manager likely to not get a prem gig, a coach looking for a promotion to manager, or an up and coming manager from the lower leagues who gets a big pay rise and even if we went down we’d be a bigger and better club than the one they are currently at.

Nuggets, ketchup is too spicy!

Karen (my wife), Wayne (my son) and I would like Sir David Moyes.

Pep breathed in his vicinity, so he’s now an amazing manager. That’s how it works.

None of our players are good enough, fear not.

I’d imagine it’s exactly what they did.

I just don’t get Chelsea, it’s quite admirable that they are willing to give a championship manager a chance. But they’ve already shown that they are willing to give anyone time in getting rid of Potter and Poch, so what’s the point in going for people who are going to need to do a lot of learning on the job. The most annoying thing is that if he’s not too 7 or 8 by Christmas he’ll probably be out in his ear and all the disruption for us will be for nothing.

What part of the £50m he spent wasn’t money?
-
He’d join Chelsea if none of that happened, so I don’t think it’s relevant.

Anyone checked who bought lots of property nearby now they've decided to make it a go to place in the city centre, I'm sure nobody would ever do that, and it certainly never happened around the Curve.
-
We had no money; we wanted him, and he wanted us. By the time we had cash he'd already moved.
-
Wouldn't read too much into it just yet, manager is putting his two pence in first, exercising a bit of power. He'll want to know budgets, obviously that's complex. So until everyone above MA knows where we and they stand, we probably won't make a decision and say anything until then. He's clearly not at the top of the list to keep, but there are probably a few scenarios we may want to.

It's like they didn't learn from Graham Potter.
-
At a time when we’ve had so many legend go without one, it makes more sense to do a collective tittle winners reunion 10 years after the win IMO.
-
Where did I mention £20m? The OP specifically stated £10m+. What the papers say Blackburn want isn’t what I’m discussing.

I'd argue the position we're in means that's exactly what we'll have to do. Take risks. It's the sort of risks we take that are up for debate. Do you go for young and totally untried like a Fatuwa, or do you sign someone older who has done it in a league closer to our own, but with less sell on upside. I'd also rather consider the whole rather than the individual. If we signed 7 players and 6 of them were up and coming with potential sell on, and one wasn't... that's more palatable. I

Fifa to explore impact of moving domestic matches abroad

I'd happily see Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs play 38 games abroad and none here. -
Percy article enzo set to stay, vardy and vesty new deals

And that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Firstly, he won't be earning that. Secondly, if he leaves we have to pay the wages of someone coming in, as well as a fee. If you think we already need two centre backs, if he leaves we need three. So if there is a £20m budget for new centre backs, it then gets diluted even further, because it's being spent on three and not two. If money is no object, then he leaves and we get better players in. But we aren't living in some alternate reality, we have to get the most from every penny in terms of quality.- 201 replies

My viewpoint is that players are "tried" every day in training. Seeing them in the team is nothing more than satisfying ourselves of thier ability. The manager should already know without that. -
Did our system when we won the league help the lack of pace Wes and Huth had? It's on the manager to use the player correctly. The simple fact is, with what's likely to be a limited budget, it makes far more sense to keep what you have, than add another player to the list that you need to buy.

Maybe the manager doesn't rate him higher than Vestergaard, otherwise he'd have been playing instead of Vestergaard.
