  1. It’s almost like pointless possession is… well pointless.
  2. Took my 4 year old to his first ever game against West Brom. Glad he can say he saw this legend live now!
  3. Weird that I’ve wanted promotion to allow Vardy to sign off with getting us back to the premier league, more than almost any reason. Great way to bow out really after his journey here!
  4. Drives me mad, said it before they decide their narrative before the game and seem to stick to it no matter what.
  5. Because it's an outdated method they no longer want to use, that's the whole point.
  6. I understand a charge, but at the end of the day, they don't want to use the system any more. So the cost isn't just the price of the plastic card, it's the entire system they would rather do away with, plus the staffing time / costs of running said system. The reality is, the £25 price point is there to push people to being digital, and you can't really justify that amount, when as you say a replacement was less currently.
  7. Can't they be added to one phone, same as when you buy multiple tickets for a single match, they can all go on one phone.
  8. I don't think either should be banned. In Europe they treat you like adults and have bars etc that are designated as places to smoke, whilst others are smoke free. But, I do think a bit like how your insurance doesn't cover you if you are pissed and hurt yourself abroad, having some form of accountability in terms of costs isn't a too far-fetched idea.
  9. Firstly, I'd ban you from being able to use the NHS, based on the fact you couldn't tell I wasn't being serious. Then I would absolutely ban old, fat, alcoholics from using it... good job you are already banned.
  10. Ban them from NHS care and say they need a separate insurance policy to cover any future care. Soon have loads quitting.
  11. And they are lucky we threw the lead away.
  12. So have the others then.
  13. This simply isn't true; people seem to be falling into the trap of believing it's the same members going every week, but the reality is it's spread about. Game 1: Member 1 might go Game 2: Member 2 might go Game 3: Member 3 might go Game 4: Member 1 and 3 might go Game 5: Members 2 and 4 might go Game 6: Member 4 might go. etc etc Game 23: Members 1, 2, 3 and 4 all want to go to the big game, despite never all attending the same fixtures before that season, thus meaning tickets run out for people who would usually get from from a season ticket holder etc. People have got tickets because they've got a membership and got points.
  14. If you were a member with 15 points, you could get a ticket, which would mean a grand total of 7 games each season over the last two seasons being needed. The tickets available when they first went on sale didn't look that drastically different to what they normally do, considering the obvious increased demand.
  15. It's not like premier league away games, where it was sold out each week. Members have been able to buy tickets for pretty much every single game. I doubt there are many people buying memberships and then reselling tickets, to people who could just keep a membership and do it themselves. If people have relied on ST holders buying them tickets, then they've run the risk of exactly this happening, knowingly.
  16. She lost out to a member with more priority points than her, which means presumably they've been to more games.
  17. You'l only have one if you've bothered to becomes a member, whose place do you think they are taking? It's done on priority points.
  18. The guy spent £50m in the championship, and we'll probably spend more on wages than any team ever in this league. Anyone making excuses due to resources is barking up the wrong tree. I've not been impressed with how we've played since day dot. The evidence was there and it was Rodger's scraping past in games thanks to a bit of extra quality all over again.
  19. I think they are commenting on the fact they are all miserable there
  20. Well I got 34 points when buying the membership... I presumed everyone did
  21. Jeeesh what a day of results!
  22. We're moving the women in and selling Belvoir drive; that should liven things up...
  23. They probably aren't cash-rich; their wealth is built around the value of their business. To generate the actual cash, is likely to mean liquidating some assets. Rich people use loans all the time, successful companies use loans all the time. I don't think it's an issue. Let's not forget, they wrote off about £200m worth of loans not so long ago. If they wanted to, they could refinance the loans through KP. But that needs to go up a level to the KP board and not just our board, and as I've suggested before we don't know the appetite at KP any more, ultimately Top answers to the board there. There are question marks for me about how much KP want to be involved, Top personally lending money was a bit of a red flag for me.
  24. We had to pay a fine, and league might have come out and been "oh it was a misunderstanding", but I would suggest that was because they wanted a line drawing under it as we didn't look like coming down anytime soon. I'm not sure the inflating out income stuff was a good thing, it was obviously as dodgy as hell and brought us plenty of bad press then.
  25. I would suggest paying a fine rather than points deductions is a rather big impact.
