  1. We got relegated with the biggest wage budget outside the elite. The risk is there even if we spend, and if we did go down we'd be well and truly f*****.
  2. If we spend we are likely to get three points deductions in ever increasing severity. We’ve already broken 22/23, have admitted we are likely to break 23/24, and overspending next season could mean a 24/25 breach also. We are signed up to the fast track scheme now we are promoted. So we multiple punishments in one season. Meaning likely relegation, a financial shit show again and trouble with the league again. This is THE opportunity to get it all back under control. I remember not long ago posting about the hypocrisy of our fans who knew we were overspending and said nothing. Now a huge number are actively saying do it again despite slating the club for financial mismanagement. It’s baffling.
  3. If you make no attempt to bring spending under control it counts against you and you’ll get a bigger points deduction next time.
  4. Unless we sell we will break it. So it might be a fire sale before the end of June and then loads of signings after when the new PSR year kicks in… probably hoping to see us through to the new rules coming in.
  5. It was said in a paper the other day Hermansen was on a list given to the manager by Glover.
  6. Bit** and moan about overspending and now want to overspend again.
  7. Might be an argument if we didn’t also overspend and announce huge losses the season before also when finishing 8th.
  8. It was a bit more complicated than that.
  9. It’s the total over the three years that counts, doesn’t matter what league you are in. We submitted the finances already that showed we were likely to break it this season. Hence the league going for us long before our accounts come out, they don’t wait for that
  10. The first one is for our relegation season, the second one will be for this season.
  11. A promotion, an FA Cup and a premier league say otherwise. What matters is the scouting to pick the right players, within what little budget we have.
  12. We are likely to get two points deductions next season, making staying up nigh on impossible. Sadly it might be prudent to take a profit and plan for the inevitable. Invest in a few young talents and just roll with it.
  13. How on earth can they explain that one when administration = 9 points.
  14. What was the amount for admin? Wasn’t that -10? They can’t really give the same or more than that so it’s going to be 6 to 9 realistically.
  15. I feel relief more than anything! God we needed this.
  16. Doesn’t count because they didn’t sign their players until two days after us.
  17. Boy did the club need this, next season will be tough but this should really enable us to get ourselves in order now. And Vardy gets his high note to potentially end on.
  18. It shouldn't be a big worry, you just go to the ticket office, and they will sort you out. Been in plenty of times when I've forgotten my ticket.
  19. True, but they don't want physical cards any more. The money isn't the issue really, they simply want more and more control and the fee is a way to push more people in the direction they want. For me personally, and the many people I've spoken to off here about it. When they are honest, it's not the money they are really bothered about. It's the fact they are losing the ability to pass tickets around to people. I know a few people who are raging and they go to few games, they tout their ticket most weeks and are the most vocal I know. (well aware that's not the case the all).
  20. Probably the same ones who said we were promoted and uncatchable 4 months ago.
  21. I thought the first few episodes were fine; it just took some getting used to. Having never really played the games, the initial reaction is a bit "What the f*** is this"... then you get through that and as you say it's actually interesting and entertaining.
  22. I thought the Birch was fantastic back in the day... before he kept getting in trouble and was neutered by the FA / Club. For a long time it's been pretty pointless to be honest, it would be nice if we had someone linked with the club with the personality needed to bring back what it used to be like. If there isn't, then just do away with it.
  23. Because we didn’t have 65%+ possession, so they can’t enjoy it. It’s like Brendan all over again. Loved being shit in the second half against West Brom and hated battering them in the first, because we had no perceived “control” .
