  1. It's tragic, he's taken them from 6th to 19th in 2 months.
  2. Apparently he has the "touch of an elephant" yet has been, by a long margin, the best of our strikers at coming deep and linking up play. He cant play against a low block because the only thing he has is pace, again proven wrong at the weekend. He's also proven to be excellent at pressing. But people will spout all sorts of nonsense to justify their bias views. His finishing needs work, but considering he hadn't started a game for us for 6+ months, it's quite understandable. He'll get better as he plays and hopefully carries momentum into what may be a PL season, next year. Who knows what his ceiling is, it could be this or PL, but atleast give him a chance.
  3. When he comes on for 15-20min cameos he looks ok, but anytime he's started, he's looked poor. The one thing that shocks me about him is how slow he is, both in thought and action. I certainly dont think he'll play for Chelsea, probably end up back in Italy.
  4. Win win situation for us, either both or one of Leeds and Ipswich will drop points.
  5. Sad to see Daka scoring so low in the match ratings. I think Enzo will rate his performance much higher considering how well he came deep and linked up the play. Looks the better of the 3 strikers that have played regularly.
  6. Not so much today, but in previous games he's started, he looks very slow and lazy, abit like Soumare. I cant see him doing well in England, maybe in Italy with there slow game play. Certainly won't be breaking into the Chelsea team.
  7. Big Harry didnt seem too pleased with Abdul 😁
  8. Why has Enzo taken Mavididi off and moved KDH to LW. Stupid decision
  9. Daka's link up play has been brilliant, but in the box he's terrible. Not sure what's got into him
  10. In Soumare's defence it didnt look like a pen, in fact neither were in that game.
  11. Ipswich are where they are on merit and good for them. I suspect something similar to what happened with Arsenal last season, will happen with Ipswich. Arsenal had 53pts from their first 21 games, 2 more then Ipswich at the same stage, but ended up with 84pts, only getting 31 pts from the last 17 games. Ipswich will get in the mid 90pts, but I suspect we'll get over a 100pts. 🤞
  12. It might sound presumptuous but it looks like good planning for the PL. I can see this happening and us getting Doyle at the end of the season too. It's a position we're lacking in, with non of our regular LBs able to play it well. Also can move either into central defence which could be useful with Vesty out of contract and Souttar not deemed good enough.
  13. Remember seeing him in preseason a few years back and he looked good even then. Surprised he hasn't been involved more. Big, strong, left footed and doesn't treat the ball like a bomb.
  14. Post match Daka talked about knowing he'll get a chance even when not in the squad. Credit to Enzo as well as Daka, for keeping him in the loop and well motivated. With Enzo confirming that Vardy and Nacho wont be ready for Wednesday, hopefully he has a decent outing against Millwall.
  15. Yeah, you just need to look at the likes of mahrez and Vardy. Also remember seeing David Silva a few years back, and he's absolutely tiny.
  16. He looked good yesterday because Emery played him further up where he linked up well with Bailey. Kamara and Douglas did all the donkey work, something Youri just can't do.
  17. The way Villa destroyed Man City, 22 shots to 2, I think even Pep was shell shocked. They just have to do it again against Arsenal, that would be some sweet revenge for Emery.
  18. We both press from the front but that's about it. Ange plays fast fearless football, whereas as we play slow cautious football.
  19. Having a philosophy and stubbornly sticking to it, is great if your owner is willing to plough 100s of millions of pounds into the project. Arsenal under Arteta have spent nearly 700M and Pep has spent over a billion. We're lucky if we can spend 5-10% of these figures, which leaves us in limbo, like Burnley.
  20. Wasted as a RCB. Several times he went forward, visibly checked himself and went backwards. Enzo has taken one of the best attacking full backs in the division and completely nullified his strengths. I understand why VK chose to leave instead of playing this way.
  21. The intent to attack from both teams is admiral. Spurs should really be winning, but you can see the difference in level between PL and Championship.
  22. Devastated to hear this. I dont think anybody will forget Euro 1996, it was an unbelievable summer. The Del Boy of football. RIP El Tel.
  23. He's playing like a man with one foot out the door, abit like several players did last season. After AFCON, I dont think we'll see much of him.
  24. Not sure he was being a sore loser. What I saw was the PM leave the stage and shake hands, congratulating the Aussies. That's why the players didnt immediately come on stage and Cummins looked an idiot standing alone.
  25. As Ponting said, Aussies dont come to compete, they come to win. I always like to see the home team win in these games, but you cant argue win the result Aussies walked it.
