He'll only play if he passes himself fit like Evans .
-
With our long injury list this is pretty bad timing. Although I didnt think he was great, he was decent in the air and had an eye for goal. It'll either mean Ricky moving further up with Hamza coming in at RB/CM or Akgun, if he's fit.
-
Yeah it's no coincidence two managers back to back have said the exact same thing. The biggest problem is Top will just ignore it.
-
Taylor was a dreadful manager but in mitigation, we did lose 2 of the best players at the club, in Heskey and Lennon. Rodgers on the other hand, purposely chose guys like Ward and Amartey, when better players were available. What he did was intentional sabotage, Taylor was just shit and completely out his depth.

McAteer was our top scorer before he got injured, so I think he deserves to get a run now. I feel Albrighton is only going to be an emergency player, in the team if all other options are unavailable. It's sad because he's had a great 10yrs with us and never let anybody down, but regardless of what happens from now to the end of the season, he's still a City legend.

Today the 50:50s went against us, but got to agree with Robins, they were the better team throughout the game, whether 11or 10 men. Our first shot was the pen after 44mins. It's not the first time too, I thought they looked better then us in the first game.

He did ok today, but once we were one man down and backs to the wall, you needed someone with more energy who was going able to get to those second balls. The problem is that Enzo seems to love him.
-
All round shit game, ref, us and Enzo's subs.
-
Poor game for us but also poor from Enzo. Needed Hamza at halftime time for his energy and defence instead of Cesare. Cannon shouldn't have been taken off
-
Rather have Hamza then Casadei for work rate and defence.
-
Reminds me of a game against Villa when he put 3-4 players on their arse with his footwork. Amazing player, the most talented I've ever seen.
-
Happy belated Birthday to Casadei. He turned 21 yesterday.

Evan's is a good defender and that's why he was central in 3 pretty decent CB partnerships with Maguire, Caglar and Fofana. But not all good players make good leaders, Evan's is a poor leader who melted into the background when the pressure mounted. That's one of the reasons why we lost double digit leads and finished in 5th twice, and eventually got relegated. He's back where he always wanted to be, at Utd, maybe this is the reason he always seems fit now, who knows. But the fact that he's still playing PL football at 36, tells you he's a good player.

Whys he covering his nuts when the balls being played in the opposite direction. 😁 Anyway RIP the Kaiser.
-
That's very similar to Kane. He has all the makings of a top striker.
-
He was ok by his normal standards, but he's not at the level we want. There's a noticeable drop between him and Ndidi.
-
Loved all his goals, even his offside one. Each showcasing a different skill. Since Nacho and Vardy's injuries, we've scored 20 goals in 7 games and looked a far better attacking team. Along with Abdul and Mavadidi, it looks like a new dawn for us attacking wise.
-
He'll definitely be an asset but Liverpool have said he's in there future plans, so probably wont sell. Considering this, shouldn't we look to get Alves some game time instead.

€17M fee already agreed, providing we get promoted, so about £14.5M.

Real dire performance from Cardiff, much worse then the reverse fixture. At the end of the 1st half they were arguing with one another, because nobody was pressing -
Whole team looks tired. They're playing like they wished the game ended as soon as we scored. These lot score more from corners then anybody else, so we'll need another or this could be a repeat of Ipswich.
-
Another Rodgers master stroke. Evans and Youri were our 2 captains, non of whom wanted to be here.
-
Ndidi will be the real miss. Daka we may be able to muddle through with Vardy and Cannon, but without Ndidi we are exposed.

Mixed bag for me. Fantastic goal and had some other dangerous moments, but in between he was running into corners and was giving the ball away too easily. Considering we were struggling in the end, this didn't help us at all.

Enzo doing a Rodgers and making awful subs. He did it against Birmingham when he moved KDH to the LW, and we lost all shape. Today we lost all energy and our midfield was played through way too easily, once he made his subs. Nacho unfortunately knows he's not going to be here for long and is playing as such.
