I think the final penalty to SA was more pivotal. Replays showed the SA player had his hands on the ground, which meant it should've been a French pen instead. Huge wrong call.

Very good technical player who I think could play on the wing or CM. In fact he's such a terrier, always chasing to win the ball back, I can see him playing in the Winks role, when he needs a rest.

They really are a vile club with a victim mentality from top to bottom. When we played them, everytime Hamza went for a tackle you could see Klopp jumping up and down, grinding his false teeth and wanting a card. Always the victims, even though they're probably going to get more decisions go there way then not. I'm surprised there vile fan base haven't started to send death threats to the ref and VAR officials.

I saw him play a few pre season games for Chelsea and he looked good, but he's looked completely lost the last 2 games, very slow and ponderous.

I think the game wasn't just about who we had missing, no doubt Mags and Winks would've made a difference, but who we had on the pitch too. Nacho and Casadei were absolute passengers. You can't go to Anfield and expect to get something, without all your players giving 100%. All in all I'm glad it's over, I hate playing them.

Pretty easy game for Liverpool. We just gave them the ball and asked them to attack us, which they did for 90mins. Nacho and Casadei looked out of their depth, but Coady and Soutter looked good. Nice cameo from Daka too.

Not really, because there just doing the same thing regardless of whether it works or not.

You have to pick and choose your moments. Sometimes Liverpool play slow and precise from the back, other times quickly. We on the other hand, just play one way. We need to be smart and unpredictable, that doesn't mean not playing from the back, but to do it smartly.

I don't think this is as far fetched as some people think. Barca signed Oriel Romeu this summer. Whatever you think of Ndidi, he's miles better then him.

That's the fear. No matter who plays, Klopp would've drilled them to press high. You only have to look at a team playing similarly to us, Burnley, to see the difference between PL and championship. Head saying easy win for Liverpool, heart saying we win on pens.

Wilf's confidence is through the roof and he's trying things he probably never has on the pitch. I think the goal against Southampton has really made him realise he's a better footballer then even he thought.
