As mentioned , it’s a reoccurring theme that the oppo is gash at putting chances away when presented to them.. 2 left footed efforts failed to hit the target.. and a free header from a free kick we may have controlled the game but it was possession football that wasnt going anywhere.. from memory, the last gasp header was the only save I remember their keeper making? falling behind v Leeds and Boro we wernt good enough to turn things around.. we were unconvincing in possession at the back most of the night… didnt deal with their aerial threat either.. it was a poor night at the office.. a very Rodgers like attitude and performance that I hope we dont see many more of

It was awful.. ought to have been 2/3 down before we’ve scored.the reoccurring thing this season is how poor the opposition has been in converting their chances… we gift opportunities with our style of play

Im glad that we are having to create a new identity for ourselves in the championship rather than the PL.. we would be ripped apart every week in the PL. it will take time and getting the right players into the system. it’s becoming a tough watch the last 5/6 games.. changes in personal that are not quite fitting in just yet.. A strong Jan window with a LB , CM minimum with a view that they are better than what we have and looking towards PL next season. This will give us a welcome confidence boost..

I think the championship as a whole hasn’t been great tbh.. on top of that we have had only a couple of games where I would say we’re at our best also. think there’s so much more to come myself..

We are going to have blips along the way.. As well as we have started the season, the league quality as a whole is pretty shite.. A couple of teams behind us have finally got going and will push us all the way.. im quite grateful for the gap we have to 3rd place at present. we have a style of play that won’t change.

More than good enough to get us out of the championship.. Out of possession, he will struggle for us in the PL with the role he plays.

No reason why vardy doesn’t play… Doesn’t do a lot in our system until the final 3rd so last night was an easy nights work and got took off after an hour.. he starts…then has 2 weeks off. Likewise for JJ , Ricardo, Winks, KDH

There are huge gaps left through the middle when we lose possession. it’s only the lack of quality in the opposition that has pre enter is conceding more goals. there isnt much protection for the CBs as mentioned, he will more than help get us out of the championship but not the answer in the PL

He couldn’t play at the base of the midfield should we get promoted.. even with KDH and Ndidi in there, Winks always gets overrun/wrong side.. think we would need to change his role,,may be a more attacking role..

Winks is integral to our new style that is evident.. it’s his movement and ability to to receive the ball in tight areas that are his strengths. for a player at the base of the midfield, he is pretty poor at tracking runners and being a screen for the back 4. it’s pretty much why he’s playing championship football rather than PL. He is the answer now and we will get away with it against average opposition. an upgrade will be needed though Should we get promoted.

Very good in possession.. makes us tick and we will probably be fine this season should he stay fit.. but very average out of possession doesnt command the middle of the park when opposition attacks us. racking up the yellow cards also which are coming from being out of position and being wrong side

I’ve seen Youri run quicker.. really slow also in possession.. too many touches.. can only get better and he will need to. will need him for plenty of games this season.. back to the bench though Saturday

Been impressed with Mavadidi… he will frustrate at times, but he really shows a willing attitude going forward and tracking back. Can beat his man, but links well also.

Although pretty happy with our business any injuries in full back positions, we are struggling.. would have liked a LB in..

The Soumare lovers are back I see A player that lacks awareness and chooses to track runners as an afterthought in his whole 2years with us.. yet ppl still say there’s a player in there… doesn’t assist, doesn’t score…isn’t actually that strong in the ball either..

And folks on here keep saying he’s homesick… happy to sit there on his wages though..
