  1. Richard Steerman just announced his retirement. Left us in 2008 which seems a long, long time ago. Apparently spent last season at Solihull Moors.
  2. Surely this isn't the same Tielemans that played for us? He's put more energy and effort into this one game than he did in an entire season for us. His play - absolutely top drawer!! Pretty good goal too!
  3. I don't think he'll last til Feb/ March! Reckon Oct / Nov !!
  4. .......so nearly as poor a points total as under Super-Brendan last time out!
  5. Is this for the appointment they'll need to make mid-october??
  6. How long did Brian Clough survive at Leeds? 44 days? No way does Maresca last this long, from kick off on MW1 - the fans are going to HATE his take on football, and the players (Big-time Charlies, every one of 'em) just will not accept his stubborn, unwavering ways. 1st managerial casualty with his team in the bottom six.
  7. Yeah! But he did cost £35,000,000+ !! (funny how they keep so quiet over that little piece of info)
  8. I wish we'd stop all this talk about Leeds United! I am a True Blue Leicester fan, and have been for 54 years, so it pains me to admit (and makes me feel a little dirty) that the following team was probably the greatest side (ok, trophies apart) to grace British football, EVER: Sprake, Reaney, Cooper, Bremner, Charlton, Hunter, Lorimer, Clarke, Jones, Giles, Gray. Sub: Madeley Manager: our very own Don Revie. Sorry!!
  9. Leeds fans going on about us 'cheating' yet it is them that has the most expensive player in the division (Noddy) plus the most over-rated one (Gray). They should also realise that we sold (or lost) SEVEN of our top players, where they have only loaned out theirs. Wierd Bunch.
  10. Agreed. If we want a centre-back, then Jake Cooper (Millwall) is the man. Awesome.
  11. Health & Safety Issues
  12. Agreed. But same could apply to "The Best Side in The League " !!!
  13. I reckon he's got at least one more top-flight season in him.... Oldest Goalscorers In Premier League History: Teddy Sheringham. 40 years & 268 days. English. Dec 2006. West Ham. Portsmouth. Dean Windass. 39 years & 235 days. English. Nov 2008. Hull City. Portsmouth. Ryan Giggs. 39 years & 86 days. Welsh. Feb 2013. Man United. ... Thiago Silva. 39 years & 51 days. Brazilian. Nov 2023. Chelsea. ...
  14. Want a win to get the 100 points. Leeds likely to lose against The Saints, so we end up TEN points ahead of them! Memories of the Tottenham 'we're coming for you side' - ended up third and 11 points behind the Mighty Leicester City!
  15. We all like to think we work with a giant cock!
  16. Think Kanté makes up for both of those (and Chillwell!!)
  17. Cry into your Hovis!!
  18. ... just take the kicking!! Its called 'taking one for the team' !!!!
  19. Don't let the facts spoil a good fantasy!!!!!
  20. My Perfect end to the season: Vardy hat-trick to clinch promotion at Preston! Another Vardy hat-trick against Blackburn. Clinches the championship. Gives us 100 points. Gives the GOAT top scorer status (sorry, Sammy). Sharkey on for a 15 minute goodbye cameo. EPL and EFL announce apologies and will take no further action. We announce Szmodics signing. Ipswich finish second. Leeds knocked out of playoffs by The Baggies. Norwich win at Wembley (so there's at least one worse Prem team next year!) ......if Carlsberg did end - of - seasons!!
  21. I'm confident we will beat Southampton the next time we meet. (May 26th, Wembley Stadium).
  22. Middlesborough Hub CERTAINLY didn't !!!!!!!!
  23. I turned to the Middlesborough Hub about 30 seconds into the game. Sky's Leeds-Love-in has gone too far.
  24. Its cos his hero, Pep, has been playing 4 centre halves at the back. Pathetic, really.
  25. Fourth year out of five that its 'been in our hands' going into the last four games! We've bottled the other times - can only see another bottle job this year. No backbone. Not looking forward to the play-offs.
