I went there today. It’s nice - got all the basic kit, gifts etc. And for anyone with young kids they’re giving away free stickers! Means nothing to me now, but a few years ago my kids would have been over the moon with the stickers!!

I suspect the drop in performance is more due to confidence than purely physical ability. I imagine having returned from a prolonged injury, the last thing a player wants to do is go in for a slightly risky tackle.

Just booked tickets for the Newcastle match and Fox Travel. I can’t go but my lads are going with a friend. Friend is a STH but is at work at the moment so can’t log in to his account. I’ve booked him a ticket for the game on my account and just hoping we’re not randomly selected to collect our match tickets on the day. I’ve booked Fox Travel coach travel too, again on my account. The booking email says to print it off, and this is the coach ticket. But obviously it’s got my name on it, instead of friend. Do they check ID when you get on the coach? He's male and I'm female with a female name, so he's pretty obviously not me!!

Where are people parking for this? It looks like the stadium has a car park but I can’t see a way of pre-booking, so I assume it’s first come first served. No good for me as I’ll be coming straight from work and pushed for time already. Everything else seems to be at least 25 minutes walk away.

I agree, it's pricey especially for a midweek game. The Villa pricing for CL is outrageous, but they know people will pay because it's CL and they may never get another chance.
