It seems that going the other way - from an older person to a younger one - has to be done manually by the club

Has anyone had any luck forwarding tickets to someone in a different age bracket? Trying to forward older son’s ticket (away at uni) to younger son’s friend, but system won’t allow it, due to age group difference.

Post edited as answered my own question! -
I never been to Millwall away, but I remember the reputation they used to have. Is it as rough as it used to be? My 16 year old wants to go with 2 friends, and we only have 3 season tickets so I wouldn't be going.

Just seen this. Have you done it now?

Easily. There are over 500 tickets left, a mixture of seated and safe standing. -

Can someone give an update on tickets remaining? Hoping it gets to all STH on Friday. Thanks -

Sold out within 2 minutes. I think a lot of the long-standing STHs chose not to renew this year, so there are a disproportionate number of people in the “all STH” category. I’ve got 460 points, and it frustrates me that that level of points doesn’t confer any benefit at all in terms of priority, and I’m competing with people who only got their season ticket this year. -

Sorry to be a pain, would someone mind posting a screenshot of the seating plan and what’s left? I think it’s going to be a bit of a mad dash tomorrow. Thanks -

Can someone who has access from today give me an idea of how these are selling? Wondering if it'll get to all STHs on Friday. -
I was thinking the same. Perfect place for a trip. I’ve been to a few European matches before and the difficulty is they seem to move the fixtures quite a lot, and in fact I don’t think they even schedule them till a few weeks in advance. But I plan to keep an eye on the dates.

If I’m understanding you correctly, you have 2 season ticket seats, and you’re trying to transfer them to 2 other people, is that right? Firstly, the people you transfer them to have to have an account. They don’t have to have membership, they just need to register an account, which is free. When you try and transfer your season ticket, you input their details and the system should find them. Secondly, it’s possible it may be too late to change tickets this close to a game. I’m not sure what the cut off is before kick off, but it could well be 24 hours. I would suggest you email the club help desk tomorrow, or trying calling.

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
Qwerty replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
Faes is the only defender we have who can move faster than a snail. Without him Marti will have to change tactics, and basically leave Vestergaard and Okoli sitting a few feet in front of the goal, because that’s the only way they’ll be there to stop an attack. -
I've been wracking my brains for an explanation too, for our desire to seemingly sell players but not buy more. We can't reverse the PSR breach because it relates to the last 3 years, so what's the point in balancing the books now? The only benefit I can see is that if we were to appeal against a points deduction, it would demonstrate a commitment to sorting out our finances, which might make an appeal look more kindly on us. The aspect of your theory that doesn't make sense though, is that by selling players we make ourselves more vulnerable to relegation, which in turns makes us far less valuable. If Top was planning to sell LCFC, it would be far better to keep us in the Championship than let us get relegated to league 1. From a purely business perspective, the advice would surely be to recoup as much as you can without risking massively slashing the value of the club ie sell a few players but not too many, and buy in a few decent ones so you stay up.

Do you know this for sure from inside sources, or is it your assumption?

Preston North End v Leicester City Aug 16th

Am I right in thinking the coaches leave at 10am? -
Oops sorry, meant to but this in tickets and travel
-
OK I’m being lazy and asking here before trawling through the non user-friendly LCFC website! I know we’re allowed to transfer 10 season ticket seats per season to friends, but does anyone know what the actual rules are for away tickets? I’m a STH with my 2 sons. Older one is at uni so younger one sometimes takes a friend to home matches using older son’s season ticket. Are we, technically, allowed to do that for away tickets as well? Of course we’ve done this in the past already, but I was wondering what the actual rules were. Anyone know?
-
I didn’t know that. I was wanting to save the delivery costs since we’ll be there on Saturday for the Preston coach, but if click and collect is free I’ll go for that
-
Does anyone have inside information on a sponsor? The reason I ask that my son is keen to get a pink top without the sponsor, but we can’t get to the shop till Saturday. It’s unlikely they’ll have announced a sponsor by then isn’t it?
-
I think his best bet is to ring LCFC and ask what they’d advise. I suppose there might be some no-shows but he might need to register on a sort of standby list maybe, because they’re unlikely to let a random person just get on a coach.
-
I’m just trying to cheer myself up! And you win some, you lose some. We’ve had to sell Mads for far less than we’d like, but there have been times when we’ve sold players for more than they’re worth. Wes Fofana for example - he’s barely played for Chelsea because of relentless injuries. As angry as it made me at the time, getting rid of him turned out very well. And Danny Drinkwater too.
-
I agree. And I think it’s also offset to an extent by getting far more for Ndidi than I thought we would.
