I just hope it’s not someone underwhelming like cooper, Bruce etc etc. carlos or potter for me and then we can start cracking on with getting the squad ready for what’s gonna be one hell of a battle. A challenge even greater than the greatest escape season if we get hit with as much as 15 points!

Well it’s nice to see our big decision makers at the club are pretty chilled about our current state of affairs lol. maybe we all should go on holiday. Hopefully all our problems will be sorted magically by the time we get back (NOT)!

This is the best question asked I’ve seen for days. Just as important as the head coach is the back room staff! They have to be top notch. Our players have waxed lyrical about how good Enzo’s work ethic was and that of his staff. Like the best they’ve experienced. Players will respond well if the standard doesn’t drop. my only worry about the club getting the appointment right is our hierarchy genuinely look wobbled. From their statements they didn’t see this coming at all. They were only in Monaco on top’s lux boat a short while ago. Enzo must have been poker faced the whole time. I don’t believe a succession back up plan was ever devised. That’s why I’m not sure this time they will get it right but I hope they do. This is such a massive season and gonna be nerve wracking from beginning to the end.

Wout Faes or farce as I’ve called him when starts to drop clangers has decent qualities. He also has a tendency to be unpredictable. Enzo even mentioned it when he went through a period of making mad decisions. It’s about focus with him. When he’s not focused or head in the game he’s a massive liability. We’ve seen it in the prem and slightly less in the championship. Premier league he will come up against the best of the best and if he’s not in the right frame of mind he makes catastrophic decisions. a luxury for us would be to have a better alround defender and have faes as a sub just for emergencies. On his good days though he can be a life saver and an important player with his pace and physical strength. If he wants to go let him go so we can find someone better.

I’m not keen on cooper for many reasons but what do I know?. Hell we’ve all be suprised by the last few managers. It’s making me very dizzy that’s for the sure the constant merry go around of manager gossip. 🤪

I was fine with it all until I read Enzo advised club not to come to the USA! 🤬 god damn it that could have been my way to see the players again having missed this entire season. Bloody marvelous

Potter has been very anonymous since his Chelsea stint. Looks like he really got spooked by that sacking. I hope the club doesn’t waste too much energy chasing him if the man isn’t ready to manage again. we need someone hungry, believes this is a project, has ambition and wants to manage this squad if players (it’s a good squad)!

If there is one thing we’ve learned from the past is we’ve gotta keep our defense pretty stable. At the heart of it is madds in goal. we can’t be facing premier league attackers week in week out with a Danny Ward type goalie. Our no. 1 & 2 have to stay! I know Chelsea and others will try to pick off our team with lots of cash as we’re desperate. I guess we’ll soon start hearing those rumours once Enzo has signed his Chelsea contract. He better keep his grubby hands off our best players!

We have a great no.2 who can take over for madds. Although I’d prefer to keep madds in between the sticks. if we sell madds to Chelsea I hope we milk them for every penny and more!

Enzo talked a big game about being honourable, having a vision, principles, being disciplined and not compromising so the way he’s jumped at this offer seems very disingenuous to me. I know it’s business but he can’t have it both ways. Foxes will be forever thankful for him getting us back up but that’s where it stops for me. I won’t love him like Ranieri or even pearson (pre Thai scandal). If he stays keeps us in the premier league despite the mountain of challenges and then goes onto have a successful season aiming for Europe he could become a legend. so what happens if Chelsea talks break down at the 11th hour after a lengthy time negotiating? He comes back to us sheepishly? It’s gonna leave us all with a little bitter taste in our mouths. How are we supposed to forget any of this just happened? Very awkward. What’s his next conversation like with Top? What about the staff at KP? Will they see him in the same way again? I don think so.

It has to be someone will to take a personal risk knowing the situation we’re in BUT on the bright side sees future rewards in a club that’s pretty solid, great fan base and history. If we can’t attract anyone from the existing out of work elites than it has to be an up & coming manager in the championship or overseas. Damn I really didn’t think we’d have to worry about this after winning promotion. What a pain!

So waking up to all the noise and it all sounds a little ominous now. Looking like Enzo is going bar any drastic reversal which will be very awkward after so much foreplay. Time to start looking at another manager.

I’ve thought about this more from an Enzo perspective and that would be his commitment to our club. Remember he’s already had a sit down with Top & co. He’s probably laid out some demands and the club has given certain assurances. I’m guessing he’s cool with that if he would have walked immediately. Now being open to hear what Chelsea have to say maybe another strategic move to simply let Top know he needs to back him or he can leave for a bigger club very easily & quickly.. mind games possibly?.
