Pretty sure cooper is as bummed out as we are. anyway we have to move on now with what we’ve got. The team will miss him too. time to accelerate our other academy stars to the 1st time. Why does it feel like we are in the worst bargaining position of all the premier league clubs mentioned. The potential Brighton deal looked awful for us and KDH so I’m glad it fell thru. Hopefully a decent deal with Chelsea can be made. We are losing the heart beat & engine of our team so this will be a big loss! Anyone we get in return is not gonna be great but hopefully useful rather than more deadwood.

I really thought this was the tournament SAFEgate finally loosens up and dares to be brave and unleash our attacking potency at the opposition. Kinda like what pretty much every other team is doing just go out all guns and play to the max ie no reservation. with our manager it’s always the feelings hes waiting for something or holding on too long. Such a frustrating watch. Yes of course playing front footed football has its risks but I’d much rather accept those risks playing that way than the inevitable risks playing deservedly and inviting pressure. FFS if we don’t see a massive change across the board tomorrow that tells me simply England don’t deserve to be at this tournament. It’s been such an entertaining spectacle so far. The whole watching world has enjoyed it so far but wondering when England is going to join the party or are they going to continue sitting on the fence?

Cooper has a near impossible job but he’s at an incredibly good club (albeit with some morons in the exec dept) and quality players young & old to work with also excellent facilities and a decent owner. given that he was available for a while it’s a great opportunity to show everyone what he can really do. He will be hungry to prove himself and that’s all we can ask for. Also think he’s not as stubborn and egotistic as Enzo. Like Ranieri did he can just pick up on the good things Enzo did and tune out the not so great stuff

I’m watching all these games and thinking why the hell England aren’t playing with the same gusto, urgency, energy and drive. Everyone is going for it like a cup final which is why every game is so entertaining. ‘leave it all on the field’ as the saying goes. loving this tournament!

Just waking up to all the noise saying cooper is in advanced talks. Well I hope the players are more enthusiastic about him as our manager than I am. i just hope and pray if cooper gets this chance he proves us all wrong and produces some miracles because we really need it! Yes! let’s wait and see how they get us out of this situation before judging. as for the photo of the Thai king being paraded I believe in Thailand the royal family is very revered. Every Thai restaurant I’ve been in there is an almost god like worship and shrine thats front and center when you walk in. Who are we to criticize another culture? There’s superficiality in every aspect of life so let’s not start picking on them on things like that. Clarke has to take the full flack for this debacle. I know Scotland isn’t world class but damn that was pants around the ankle poor. In the absence of ability there zero aggression and press. Germans happily pinging the ball around the field and in between spaces while the Scots chase shadows at half speed. McRobertson, McGuinn and McTomTom looked like pale imitations of themselves I doubt they will play that bad again. Hopefully this was a big wake up call. Players need to show some flippin pride atleast. Go down fighting!
