  1. Worn only 3 times. At Luton, Huddersfield and Reading. Never won in it. And it was green and jade btw.
  2. Legend. Big Dan refusing to board planes and ducking out of back doors to avoid having to go to Saudi Arabia. https://ghanasoccernet.com/daniel-amartey-is-a-strange-person-besiktas-spokesman-on-failed-transfers Besiktas spokesman Huseyin Yucel has expressed frustration over Daniel Amartey’s failed transfer attempts during the summer window, calling him "a strange person." Yucel revealed that Besiktas had agreements with a Saudi club and Eyupspor, but Amartey refused to board the plane and left the facilities unexpectedly, saying he preferred a move to Germany or England, despite the transfer window being closed. "Amartey is a strange person," he said. "We made an agreement with a team from Saudi Arabia, but they did not get on the plane. We agreed with Eyupspor, he escaped through the back door of our facilities. He [Amartey] said, 'I will go to Germany or England.' When he was told 'the transfer window is closed', he said 'how will it close?" Amartey, who joined Besiktas last season and made 27 appearances, struggled with consistency and has yet to feature in the new season following his exit attempt. The 29-year-old Ghanaian rejected offers from seven clubs, holding out for a potential move in January. His contract with Besiktas runs until June 2026, but he remains open to reconsidering his future.
  3. And Dak becomes the highest paid player in NFL history, despite being just slightly above average...
  4. People just don't think about it that deeply. At least I didn't when I was 7, which is when I first watched NFL on Channel 4 in 1985. I'm not going to change my team now, even if they have become a parody version of what they used to be (they are visiting your neck of the woods today incase you need a clue).
  5. K-Mag to be banned from racing in Baku after getting too many points on his license. Will it be Bearman getting the gig or someone else?
  6. The moment Stolarczyk got injured, Iversen was never leaving this window. The club couldn't leave itself with Ward as the only backup.
  7. The Yanks look stoopid with their painted faces.
  8. Nelson's gone to Oxford on loan to get valuable experience. He won't be twiddling his thumbs.
  9. Thankfully sounds like Pearsall should recover. But this is grim. https://www.espn.co.uk/nfl/story/_/id/41075430/49ers-ricky-pearsall-shot-robbery-attempt-suspect-arrested
  10. Second Villa goal is a good cross and good header. Not sure much blame can be attached to him there. First Villa goal is more concerning imo. He's almost retreated all the way into his own net. No wonder Onana had so much space.
  11. He'll be great in the Championship next season.
  12. Just imagine the bantz between Odsonne and Bouba.
  13. "They want the ransom money in non-sequential notes. 20s and 10s only."
  14. Capology says £90k per week but I don't think they're always correct.
  15. We'll be making a bid for Gabor Kiraly's tracksuit bottoms next.
  16. What's Andy Johnson up to these days?
  17. Just for reference PL goals per 90 Daka 0.35 Edouard 0.32 **** it. Better than nothing I suppose.
  18. I would imagine his agent, or Robert Huth, or both, puts the word out that he's available for loan and it goes from there. I'd imagine it's quite a small world amongst European football contacts.
  19. Yes. Another £13m worse off when we could have spent that money elsewhere. Okoli is not better than Souttar. And even if he is, it's not by much.
  20. Remember when Soumare trolled us all by wearing no.42 so we all thought he was the next Yaya Toure....the cheeky scamp!!
  21. I think they'll score plenty....next year in the Championship.
  22. The driver of the Jeep needs to go straight to the Absolute C***s Of Our Time thread. According to police, a driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee hit the Gaudreaus from behind while trying to pass an SUV on the right that had moved over to make way for the two on their bicycles. Police said both Gaudreaus suffered fatal injuries. The driver is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and has been charged with two counts of death by auto, police said. They said the investigation is ongoing.
  23. We'll have to make do with just the 4 keepers then.
  24. I just think that, as it stands, we are going to struggle to score enough goals from open play, so set-pieces could be the difference between us staying up or going down. And I don't think there is anyone better in the PL than JWP at set-piece delivery. Yes, we might have to carry him a bit in open play but I think he'd be a net positive on the whole.
  25. I think he'd be an upgrade on Ndidi, as much as I appreciate what Ndidi can (or at least once did) bring to the team.
