  1. More pundits in the studio than there were chances in the game.
  2. Midday Sunday kick off, 1st leg, warm day. All the ingredients for cagey, walking football.
  3. I really don't think there's much that can be done until it is known what the club are up against in regards to next season's points deduction. Players aren't going to want to commit until then.
  4. Even Engelbert did better than the utter plum we sent this year
  5. 13-0 win for Chelsea later and it's still all to play for.
  6. Is this the kiss of death for WBA? https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fancy-west-brom-nick-promotion-29151144 “The best team of the four in the play-offs is West Brom," says Lawrenson. "They went to Leicester and absolutely mullered them so I'm going for a real outsider and I think West Brom might nick it [promotion].
  7. We really need to know what the points deduction will be fairly soon, so we can prepare properly for next season. Will any player want to sign for us if they don't know the size of the mountain they will have to climb next season?
  8. He's the only 1st team squad member I couldn't see in any of the photos. Even Danny Ward, Harry Souttar and Dennis Praet were there. Maybe they thought his behaviour at the trophy parade boorish and didn't invite him?
  9. https://www.lcfc.com/news/4001179/aileen-whelan-announces-retirement LCFC Women captain Aileen Whelan will retire from professional football at the end of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League season after successful career spanning over a decade.
  10. Yeah, and I've seen Ramsdale make way worse gaffes than that.
  11. Willie Kirk breaks his silence and tells his side of the story. Pretty obvious who the player was/is now. Also interesting that the whistleblower was from another WSL club, not from within LCFC. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13403643/Willie-Kirk-Leicester-manager-sacked-breaks-silence-treated-criminal-WSL.html
  12. Most strikers do. Especially the good ones. He's not unique in that regard.
  13. I think it's funny that he remains potless in his career, but I don't know how you can claim he's selfish and not a team player. He gets plenty of assists and even led the PL in assists in 2020/21.
  14. On the subject of celebrity travelogues. Bet you're all wetting yourselves in anticipation of this one... https://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/24301747.rylan-clark-rob-rinder-tour-europe-new-bbc-series/
  15. I'm not. Praet was indicative of a phase the club went through of paying top wages to average players. That made them unshiftable.
  16. Or more likely Eze and Olise will be poached by bigger clubs and they'll deviate back to the mean like Brighton under Di Zerbi. That's how the PL works.
  17. They've also just sanctioned a 3rd kit for next season that literally makes the players appear as if they are on-fire.
  18. Probably be Mary Earps' last game for Man Utd. Bet she'd love to play the role of party pooper.
  19. Caption competition. I'll start. "Here are my balls. Ain't they massive?!"
  20. Title race back on. Looks like it could well come down to goal difference.
  21. Was Souttar there?
  22. Would be like a dog returning to its own vomit.
