  1. All these anti-racism slogans have got me slightly confused. At first it was “Take a knee” now Kick It Out have introduced “Take a Stand”. We’ll be doing the Hokey Cokey before you know.
  2. I’m not arsed one bit if they do it. Us, Everton, Newcastle, Leeds, West Ham , Wolves will be the new big boys.
  3. He pressed well and showed a bit of desire but in terms of footballing ability he looked bobbins. He did more than Nacho mind.
  4. I wouldn’t call Slimani talented.
  5. I really do think we should have kept hold of him. He wouldn’t be making the Premier League starting 11 straight away but he certainly would have been a useful squad player. May have even got himself a start on Thursday. Gives us something different to Mendy and Choudhury.
  6. Even Guardiola or Klopp would struggle with this side at the moment.
  7. Starting to think this may have been a bit of a cock up.
  8. I’ve not known an injury crisis like this in a long time. It can’t be a coincidence with the ridiculous scheduling.
  9. It was Villa trying to break us down for most of the second half.
  10. Begs the question IF we will be able to even field our strongest side at any point this season.
  11. I can see a changed side. Ward, Justin, Fofana, Morgan, Thomas, Choudhury, Maddison, Praet, Under, Iheanacho, Albrighton.
  12. That result is not on Rodgers. It’s just one of those things, I don’t think anyone’s to blame. Although we weren’t brilliant tonight, it’s to be expected when half your side is missing. I wouldn’t underestimate the momentum factor also, with our poor result in the previous game vs Villa’s result.
  13. Although we were poor I don’t think it’s fair to not consider the fact our 5 best players didn’t/couldn’t start today. It’s the type of lineup you see in the FA Cup 4th round against Fulham. This is the exact type of performance I was expecting vs West Brom, Burnley etc, I think it’s just caught up with us. I’m not concerned because I know we will get better as players come back from injury. I know we’re not doing ourselves any favours at the moment but it will get better.
  14. Personally, I could see the logic in the Choudhury substitution. We were all over the place at the back and in midfield in terms of giving the ball away, and we certainly were on the back foot. If we were on the front foot I maybe would have gone for Under for Mendy.
  15. I can see Man Utd finishing about 14th this season.
  16. I know everyone is entitled to do what they want with their money, but I will look down on anyone who placates this mad scheme. I’m voting with my feet.
  17. Mendy is a much better footballer than Choudhury. Although Hamza is still a good prospect, he’s been too mistake prone when he’s been given the opportunities. Ndidi has had two quite bad injuries in the last year and Hamza didn’t take his opportunity, now it’s Mendy’s turn.
  18. Probably would be best for all parties if we just payed off his contract and let him go to Barnsley for nothing.
  19. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just a negotiation tactic from Liverpool and Man Utd. Have a few points that you actually want, but suggest something absolutely ridiculous, so they can “compromise”. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if at some point if we had an 18 league division with a relegation play off.
  20. Worst case scenario; Schmeichel, Justin, Fofana, Fuchs, Castagne, Mendy, Tielemans, Maddison (assume he’s fit?) Under, Iheanacho, Barnes.
