Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
Groby_Blue replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think Arsene Wenger had the best idea for the offside rule, basically if any part of the attacker's body is level, he's onside (so the same as the 'clear daylight' theory). Interestingly, it's being considered for next season. https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/us/ifab-considering-offside-rule-change-that-arsne-wenger-recommended-what-is-the-rule-and-how-it-will-impact-football/articleshow/105318582.cms?from=mdr The way VAR is dealing with offside is ridiculous. Remember when we were told it would lead to more goals being allowed? The exact opposite has happened and they are actively looking for a reason to rule goals out. -

Brilliant video. Thanks for sharing. -
Remember seeing him play for Man City and thinking he looked a real talent, and was very excited when we signed him. But apart from some moments that were few and far between, he's never reached what we all hoped his potential would be here. Wish it had worked out very differently for him here but I'll always remember that goal against Burton Albion this season. Good luck wherever he ends up (as long as it's not F****t)

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Groby_Blue replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Which is the whole point of the rules.... -
Wow, this one got me. Especially with the fox looking at Marc. I think in years to come we'll look back at Albrighton and realise we didn't give him as much credit he deserved, even though he's already got 'legend' status, if that makes sense. Probably not.

Who is Graham Brock?

When Enzo was appointed his objective would have been get promoted, get us out of this league and back in the PL. No matter how, get us up. If he'd done it like MON who got us in the playoffs on the last day of the season and then got us promoted with literally the last kick of the season, he would have achieved his goal and done his job. And like O'Neill, he deserves his shot at the PL. Remember the close season when we went up? We signed Kasey Keller and Spencer Prior and that was it and people were going insane. We'll never stay up. O'Neill has got to go. We finished 9th, won the league cup and qualified for Europe. Different times and the game has changed since then I know, but give the guy a go in the top flight, let him sign more of his own players, let him evolve his style and let's see where we finish. He might well be more suited to managing a PL side than a Championship side. After all, that's what he knows and what he's used to. For the record, I think we'll be ok next season.

Remember when Ulloa took us apart when we got promoted last time, and then we signed him? Let's do it again with Sammy please.

Sounds like the perfect sponsor for those red dogs up the road.

I was there too. When the PA announced the sub, the United fans all went WHOOOOOOOOO? And our lot also went WHOOOOOOOO?

He was a German wasn't he and he had one of the best songs ever. Who bombed Coventry? Sahsa's Dad, Sasha's Dad...

And Vardy to get ten of them to hit 200 goals. It could happen.

Absolutely beautiful. Monday night is going to be one massive party.

Full time you mean. If QPR fcuk this up, I'm going to go to west London and petrol bomb the nearest Waitrose.

What the hell is that pink kit??? Don't deserve promotion wearing that.

Tis merely a scracth!

Nige. And then if we're losing at half time, he can bollock the players and kick their arses as they run back out of the tunnel.

Southampton 5-0 post match mutual touching frisky party
Groby_Blue replied to Daggers's topic in Leicester City Forum
This fooker has been coming all season. Just a shame we had to wait until three games before the end of the season! -
QPR, Bristol City, Millwall, Plymouth, Southampton. And this is the game we feared the most.
-
Bloody hell. It's worth watching him fluff loads when he hammers one in like that.

Smallbone taken out
-
Southampton definitely look like they're already preparing for the playoffs. We should finish this off with a couple of early golf second half.

What a beautiful goal
