  1. That's not going to happen. The taxpayer pays for people to switch the heating on amongst vast amounts of other consumer assistance benefits.
  2. How long until areas become uninsurable, Gov have to step in and be the insurer of last resort and costs spiral to actual infinity. At least there will be enough case studies of this happening in the US first to do the modelling off of. Should be criminal convictions for policymakers who said achieving net zero will be too expensive and burdensome, when it does happen
  3. I don’t think I can explain it any more literally tbf
  4. Same. I know it’s very au fait to announce,.. I gave up social media. and my life is so much better for it. Every couple of weeks. But I’ve got a slight flight delay now and the memes/gifs of Man Utd related personnel trying to get the game today called off are so funny
  5. Farage is way too smart to bat off those two gentle seamers, and at the same time get his army of forgotten Tory voters of a certain age mobilised. Need to hit him with a head height Beamer on the subjects to get him. Ie - how much ****** money is the changing climate costing you and your disciples NOW. And how does that compare decade on decade.
  6. They’re defo not ‘full’ of these idiots and it’s reassuring to read the idiots are getting called out. Hope that continues. Qpr at home in cup will very much be a family affair, these day trippers won’t even know we’re playing never mind be at the kp
  7. The poetic justice of this thread being at page 420 is very apt. Just chill man…. Everyone has an opinion and they’re allowed to share it. At least that was the case in my day before all you younguns started getting offended at everything
  8. It’s just the media driving it into a frenzy, and middle class people of a certain age buying into the frenzy.
  9. Went to Bradford v Grimsby today. Very impressive stadium, the city was surprisingly good. All limestone buildings
  10. Haha yeh has been a good shift! Enjoyed being back in Leicester for this period, will look to do longer weekends around the football for the rest of this season, or less time in London. Nice one mate, goes without saying put your reviews on this thread so I can update my to do list!
  11. Went to Broadway, the veg food was excellent. Ordered a stack of veg and non veg between us. Only Durham ox left for me to tick off now. @Chris_OGrady Very useful 8 or so days in Leicester during my Xmas fortnight in the uk. Longest I’ve spent in the city since I was at school, I think.
  12. OTT post. They're prob gonna be staying in Western branded hotels a long way from any sort of Thai reality. Anyway, a bit of immunity built up will be a very good thing.
  13. Yeh get that, that's why I would not have replied with my same comment to half the misery guts in this section LOL. SemperEadem seems quite lively, outgoing and regularly does things with a group of about 500 judging by his previous posts on the beer, restaurants and groundhopping threads. Hence I would imagine he'd like it
  14. There's always a class Karen, you know what I mean!!!
  15. Not a big deal, every Liverpool and Arsenal game in the run in will be moved
  16. To people still do that? I go on Facebook occasionally to get rid of junk on marketplace and click on ‘on this day.’ It will usually be drunk pics of us as teenagers/early 20s, loads of f and c word usage, wouldn’t dream of doing that now, would be scared my employer or clients would see
  17. It’s really a lot of fun, you wouldn’t regret it if you went. There are very few places in our facemasked and plastic society where you can do wtf you want and dress how the hell you like, a Hearn event is one
  18. Bloody hell! I would contact your Local MP, citizens advice, the mercury, all the other national media outlets, these well-networked football social media pages etc with a full email of the timeline of events and the response from LCFC. Send the template email to all parties. Surely some smoking bombs in there to cause a stir in your story. If you get a positive response, figure out a cost of damages and lodge a small claims court summons. Power to the people brother. Don't get pushed around like all the other 'games gone mate its gone' simps, fight!!!
  19. Also got a pair sat next to each other in A1 spare for this match
  20. Yep and also these people subsidise our memberships for the rest of the year. So come on down New Year’s resolution-ers
  21. They won here in March, less than a year ago!
  22. Wow a weirdly strong reaction and name calling, are you a West Brom fan?!? The Onana assault on the wolves striker at old Trafford last season, that scandalous last min pen winner to sheff u and the one Newcastle got when their player kicked the grass are the ones I can remember off the top of my head
  23. Possibly. Like you I only have my own anecdotes but when I moved there in 2011 central was exactly the same. Dumb and naive weekenders in those stupid rickshaws. Much like Amsterdam in those area near the main train station European culture is totally different, they can handle partying until the early hours. Our rounds-based pint of lager drinking pub culture isn’t built for that
  24. Would never happen. How many people cry about 'the magic of the cup!!!' If Tamworth tried to cash in by playing at Villa Park, there'd be a justified tornado of 'games gone mate its really gone' comments. Of course ground swapping used to happen in the past but I assume that was before the games gone crowd came onto the scene.
