Yeh I remember Bournemouth, nice town, very poor stadium for this level of football
-
Jealous. If I’d known they would fill their unique looking ground I’d have thought about going, and tied in some Olympics
-
This forum is gonna go off tonight LOL
-
Why is their stadium packed for this match lol? Are we still a big draw

Another early away KO suiting Jersey bulls, 5-0 up at Spelthorne within 60 mins.

Paris Olympic Games 2024

Correct, as previous posts point out, he is staying with other athletes in the village who are also at their 'woodstock' - potentially once in a lifetime chance to define your career/life. if they get seriously taken down by his illness... Unpopular opinion incoming - less concerned about him passing it onto Marc Deschamps or Celine Agathe in the crowd or media room. there's loads of covid going around now, if you're a spectator at these events, you take that risk. And the consequence to them is nowhere near as brutal as to an elite athlete. -

He knew he had covid before he ran?! That's insane if so, and makes me think much less of him (even though he deserved his brilliant gold in 100m). His argument will be there's nothing in the rules to stop him competing at such an important event, which is ofc true. But why come out and admit it?! Proper Martin Shkreli scorched earth thinking -

I think a lot of it is commercial/sponsorship driven, like the Samsung selfies at the medal ceremonies. I was thinking womens beach volleyball players were wearing bikinis for the 10pm kick off solely for the lads. But then did wonder why they’re wearing visors and sunglasses….All sponsorship driven apparently -

Only one side to get out of my bed tbf!! I agree the Olympics should be the highest level of the sport so football, tennis, golf (??), rugby should not be allowed. There should be squash, bowling, fishing included. But Olympics is the highest level of international basketball???? Bank balance should not play a part. In that case footballers should not turn up for the World Cup or any internationals, they get paid peanuts for that -

It appears Noah lyles had covid, carried out in a wheelchair! Given everything he does is exaggerated, it’s unfortunately a struggle to believe he was really that sick -

Lol what’s a competitors net worth got to do with competing in the olympics. Bank statements required to be uploaded before your space at the athlete village is authorised. Strip Usain Bolt of his golds!! -
Yeh it is locked, forgot that, still have it on my favourites tab. A Partner at my previous firm was a Millwall fan and member and gave me his logon once. It is seriously unhinged.

It's not tongue in cheek! We tend to do well on the anniversary fixture and we smashed them 4 zip in the season we went down. Forest aren't that great and we will turn up at least once this season.
-
Wow Friday night, works well for me. This is around the time of the helicopter anniversary, I predict we spank them 4-0, Vichai songs aplenty and this is the best day of season 24/25
-
We got away with it because the standard of football in the championship is utterly atrocious. Premier league is not so forgiving

Up for swan and rushes. Can I wear my MAGA hat

Saturday 3 August v FC Augsburg pre-season friendly
grobyfox1990 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Really, wow. Maybe the train would’ve been cheaper. Pre season though isn’t it, just a kickabout and fitness test, still over two weeks away from start of the season. I went to leuven a few summers back and it was great fun, had a skinful of Stella. Couldn’t believe some lads behind me were annoyed about the performance! -

Who is the commentator lol. Sounds like a mashed up Scottish/American accent. The ground and weather looks nice, maybe should’ve thought more about going -
That’s damn nice. Would defo flog it if I were you, would fetch a tidy return
-
Can we bring our own booze. If we can’t, how stringent are the checks

This has wildly escalated this morning. 'Does anyone want a drink SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM'
-
No, he is asking me that question. Followed by the loud inhale and erm
