I’m still wrangling with sky over the Blackburn move from Friday to Sunday after I suffered losses due to booked flights for a Friday match. They claim ignorance due to every match having a disclaimer of ‘subject to change.’ My defence is after one move to Sunday, a subsequent move to Friday is unreasonable. Furthermore, the disclaimer cannot avow the defendant of all responsibility. There has to be a window where ‘subject to change’ expires

Then you’d have the scores of people saying the club don’t want fans at matches etc etc They should make a stand and release a strongly worded statement threatening action due to this move. It’ll make no difference but it shows the club acknowledge the madness of it all to fans. Or pay for coach travel for fans. In 13/14 when we went up I swear they gave us money back due to all the Friday night home match moves? Or did I imagine that. But we all accepted sky into the game so this is the price we pay. Plus as arguably the least inconvenienced club in the country, geographically, maybe other fans don’t have as much sympathy.

Monthly!!!!! Absolutely no way I’d be keeping month old veg peels in a bin in my garden. I’d be putting small and frequent amounts of waste into public bins.

They are in jersey bulls league. It’s a shame it came against knaphill as they are a real **** of a team. Farnham are at the bulls next weekend and I’m going. This level is pretty pointless for teams. We’re coming up to the end of the season and teams with money will splash the cash on a few short term loan players to get them into the playoffs and up.

Will presumably wait until the PL tv times are sorted before they announce ko times for this

Same every time for me when travelling east. Go out with a full bag of donated old clothes/goods to give to locals. Come back with a full bag of new tailored clothes, snacks, spices et al. My things for the holiday are hand luggage only

Pollution, chaos, toxic rivers are all still there. Along with roads being built whilst the road remains open, everywhere being a construction site, the whole country being a bin, random ditches at the side of every pavement. But that’s part of the charm, go and see something different. It’ll liven you up and give you an experience far more than France ever can

It’s dirt cheap is the main attraction to me lol. Would rather spend a week in a 5* in India living it up then 3 days in a grotty 3* being treated like an everyday schlep in some godforsaken hole like Italy and being charged more money for it. But seriously, it’s amazing. Food is unrivalled, the colour, noise, vibrancy and life gets you. You can get anything you desire. Nature, scenery, activity. It’s got it all. Every new state/city I go to has something unique. I work with corporate drones in the uk who think they are ‘great negotiators’ - they have nothing on the street sellers across India.

This is my 7th time to India, a country that is like a continent that can never be ‘completed’ - but I will try my best to cover as much as I can. First time to Nepal. Bhutan is on the medium term planning list!

Was only in nagarkot for 1 day/1 night. Only did one trail, time allowed nothing more. Kathmandu appears to be mainly recovered. The spirit is of course still there, everyone knows someone who has something to sell to you

Great times in north India and Nepal. Amritsar - uk based punjabis are so OTT in being Punjabi I’ve always wondered what real Punjabi’s are like. Warm, friendly and thoroughly decent is what. Wagah border and golden temple brilliant. Dharamsala - mainly to watch cricket at a beautiful stadium in the Himalayas. Incredibly scenery, paragliding, trekking, world class Nagarkot - again world class scenery of the Himalayas, including Everest. Nothing remotely like it anywhere in Europe. Kathmandu - big city, friendly people, amazing flavourful food. What an experience and as expected your money goes so much further out here. £2 for a test cricket ticket, £2.50 for a haircut and cut throat shave, 3 tailored cotton shirts £30, you get the gist…

Happy birthday @fuchsntf ! The best travel tips man on the internet

Brilliant match, that’s an obvious pen at the end. As a neutral I see where the ref is coming from, he doesn’t want the aggro. As a fan I’d be incredulous

It’s not strikes, it’s maintenance. So bus replacement part way. -
The walk from the town centre to the ground had a few good ‘sports’ pub type places. Dingy but good beer. Had a massive and well nice seafood platter at Humber fish co

Then there would’ve been issues coming back after the game. Plus Liverpool v Man U is the prime time game, that can never be the lunchtime slot. -
That is my opinion, but also a fact coming from the WEF risk forum and geo-poltical agencies. Equality means the planet is uninhabitable to huge swathes of people already, whether climate consequences or rampant diseases exist or not, and is largely unknown to us and in our gilded caged lives spending our free time in awful places like Italy and France. Inequality is already amplified far more. Listen to his channel. Anyway I don't want to gas up the science club or get asked for a peer reviewed study, I am here to get clicks for my pal's YouTube channel and his book. He presents the issue phenomenally well. https://www.youtube.com/@garyseconomics/videos

https://archive.is/su6W2 My pal Gary is possibly the only person, globally, who talks sense on matters of inequality (the number one risk factor facing the world, not covid, not climate etc etc) and the above is well worth a read. He has a book coming out and his youtube channel, garyseconomics, is perfectly pitched to the masses. Well worth a watch if you are vaguely interested in the politics of wealth, taxes etc.
