Hahaha, you might be a completely deluded middle aged internet caricature, but unlike the rest of the daily mail readership, you have a good imagination and a lot of good material to use when poked. Will defo be plagiarising some of these lines as my own.
-
You can stop going, but the reason clubs have put in decades worth of work and investment towards the huge numbers of newly minted middle classes in the emerging economies is because they don't need us. You can stop doing all you describe above, I doubt it would make a material difference. Change happens by getting organised, stuck in and doing it yourself. Incredibly simplistic drivel like the 'except for' post above - which reads like a spotty bedroom pop singer with a Blur poster who reached no.47 on the daily spotify listings and creamed himself daily is based on nothing but delusion.
-
Except for you're referring to individual case-by-case issues. If you think root and branch reform, which I presume is what this thread is talking about, will happen by 'just stop going'....

Seemingly every Everton fan this morning saying ‘I’ve got no problem with forest, I like forest, but…..’
-
Where did you read that? I hope that’s the case. Yes horley are chancers, they called off the away match due to a ‘waterlogged pitch’ - in reality one of the players had a stag do so they canned it
-
Comical scenes at Jersey on Saturday. Easy-jet tried to charge the Horley team £15 pp extra as their baggage did not meet size requirements, they refused and went home. 4 players already on the plane had to get off lol. Match cancelled and a load of gate receipts, plus a few grand in travel costs, down the drain for Jersey. Not sure how this will conclude, Jersey won't pay the travel costs again for Horley to come and play the match, surely just 3 points to Jersey and write off a home match worth of takings.

Completely agreed, well said.
-
Yeh agreed, there has to be a choice surely. People can't keep making edgy proclamations and public grandstanding declarations of how football is broken every few months, whilst still following football. I lost interest from 2011 - 2013, did not even know some of our results or if/when we were playing. Coincided with moving to London, working non-stop and partying in free time. Got fully back into it in the promo season and obvs not looked back. If you are fatigued, just stop following, instead of telling people you are fatigued. There are so many distractions in 21st century living to take football's space.
-
Helluva day of football. Fantastic viewing. Anything but fatigued, I want more and now instead of this stupid international break
-
Yeh, I despise the March international break. Everything is boiling up nicely, now we break up to play pointless friendlies.
-
Opposite, I love it more, especially this season with us winning all the time and the prem drama as a neutral. I cannot remember the last time there was a three horse title race. Day to day life and work is filled with pressure, it's nice to have a rollercoaster side hobby which when all is said and done means nothing.

Just done exactly the same. As well as a Guinness in Ronnie Roos. First time I’ve been to town on a weekday, non Xmas, for years I think. It’s so quiet. Pretty sad

Little social and blacklock in London the clear best

Europeans are defo far less cultured, and Europe is an eyesore and a dump. With the exception of the Spanish. But yeh the all out dump this country has become is noticeable, 3rd world levels. Sad that we’ve regressed to the level of the French

What would a protest be? En masse not turning up wouldn’t affect them. We all have to switch off from sky. Get iptv. Get these rats where it hurts

Quality!! If you ever in jersey and want to go, I have an QR code ST which you can gladly use. They’ll get playoffs this year but nothing after that, as bigger teams will draft in short term players to go up. It’s expensive as the bulls have to fund their own travel, plus that of all the teams coming to jersey. So every game is thousands of pounds. But they have good corporate backing plus a few private individuals who love football funding it. Rugby club was a debacle, shocking management
-
I’m still wrangling with sky over the Blackburn move from Friday to Sunday after I suffered losses due to booked flights for a Friday match. They claim ignorance due to every match having a disclaimer of ‘subject to change.’ My defence is after one move to Sunday, a subsequent move to Friday is unreasonable. Furthermore, the disclaimer cannot avow the defendant of all responsibility. There has to be a window where ‘subject to change’ expires
-
Then you’d have the scores of people saying the club don’t want fans at matches etc etc They should make a stand and release a strongly worded statement threatening action due to this move. It’ll make no difference but it shows the club acknowledge the madness of it all to fans. Or pay for coach travel for fans. In 13/14 when we went up I swear they gave us money back due to all the Friday night home match moves? Or did I imagine that. But we all accepted sky into the game so this is the price we pay. Plus as arguably the least inconvenienced club in the country, geographically, maybe other fans don’t have as much sympathy.

Monthly!!!!! Absolutely no way I’d be keeping month old veg peels in a bin in my garden. I’d be putting small and frequent amounts of waste into public bins.
-
They are in jersey bulls league. It’s a shame it came against knaphill as they are a real **** of a team. Farnham are at the bulls next weekend and I’m going. This level is pretty pointless for teams. We’re coming up to the end of the season and teams with money will splash the cash on a few short term loan players to get them into the playoffs and up.
-
Will presumably wait until the PL tv times are sorted before they announce ko times for this

Same every time for me when travelling east. Go out with a full bag of donated old clothes/goods to give to locals. Come back with a full bag of new tailored clothes, snacks, spices et al. My things for the holiday are hand luggage only
-
Pollution, chaos, toxic rivers are all still there. Along with roads being built whilst the road remains open, everywhere being a construction site, the whole country being a bin, random ditches at the side of every pavement. But that’s part of the charm, go and see something different. It’ll liven you up and give you an experience far more than France ever can

It’s dirt cheap is the main attraction to me lol. Would rather spend a week in a 5* in India living it up then 3 days in a grotty 3* being treated like an everyday schlep in some godforsaken hole like Italy and being charged more money for it. But seriously, it’s amazing. Food is unrivalled, the colour, noise, vibrancy and life gets you. You can get anything you desire. Nature, scenery, activity. It’s got it all. Every new state/city I go to has something unique. I work with corporate drones in the uk who think they are ‘great negotiators’ - they have nothing on the street sellers across India.

This is my 7th time to India, a country that is like a continent that can never be ‘completed’ - but I will try my best to cover as much as I can. First time to Nepal. Bhutan is on the medium term planning list!
