  1. Yeh but that’s why I love football. It’s a great escape from reality. The reaction to last nights draw was like a defeat from most of my family/friends. It’s a game we follow so closely against all logic, so I want the reaction to it to be completely illogical too.
  2. Yes Rio, fantastic city full of life, colour, flavour, vibrancy and scenes like you’ve never seen. Copacabana is what a beach should be, match at the maracana is a must. Don’t act the fool though as you will be attacked, loads of petty crime
  3. A variety of different drinks at the new real ale classroom in town, very nice
  4. It’s a ridiculous cost but it’s justified. As you said your cruise is much cheaper, because you have an imagination. There are plenty of people who are too stupid and lazy to consider anything outside of uk, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy and France. They will and should be punished. We went to Mexico City and partied like rockstars for a week for half the cost of the most boring and tepid 3 days ever in santorini. Welcome to capitalism
  5. Swansea will get called off. Both clubs got winnable 3rd round ties so will likely be in the 4th round on the day
  6. Luckily there are no good sides in this league!!!
  7. It will be the difference between winning the league in late March or early April. Won’t matter at all
  8. Obvious pen, obvious red, deflected equaliser in stoppage time. Still win the league by a mile
  9. I voted ‘yes’ but after reading this I’ve changed my mind. The standard of this league is so bad we spent pre season having fun, new manager, new players, new system and we’re still running away with it unopposed. We’re a decent team in a horrendous league most likely
  10. that’s what I planned for Ipswich home, then it got moved to Monday… sky have a PL game on Friday and Monday of that weekend. Saturday 12.30 looks most likely as Arsenal play at 8pm on the day due to CL involvement in the week
  11. I know that’s the template football fan response but I just don’t see it. Two of the big 6 (Man U and Chelsea) are slapped around every week. The richest club in the world (Newcastle) got beaten in a back garden in north London yday. Villa were minutes away from being top at Xmas. It’s an unpredictable league (shown by my acca losing every Saturday..) with thrilling matches every week. If you think it’s tedious and tired I wouldn’t know how to convince you, so fair enough!
  12. Totally understand your point but it’s the opposite for me. The standard is so bad. It’s not competitive football. I’m sat at ht yday at 0-0 with not even a doubt that we’ll win this match. Because of all the early leavers I was back home for the 5.30 ko which was an incredible football match. Looking forward to that again next season
  13. Agree with everything other than the last sentence. Relegation was absolutely not an aberration. Totally deserved
  14. ???? The theme tune song for the man who just won us the game? Stop moaning and sing his song
  15. Embarrassingly easy. How good was the patson daka song at the end of the match!
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-67808645 serves them right for eating French food
  17. Jersey is very high up, if stripped out of the uk. Who’d have thought putting a load of rich old people on a rock with no other entertainment than getting blasted would result in that https://www.itv.com/news/channel/2023-04-20/jersey-ranks-among-worst-nations-for-alcohol-consumption
  18. Would be interested in if they’re seriously bothered about matchday fans. Didn’t have fans in the stadium for over a year during covid and the money train kept chugging along. As long as tv and commercial keep strong why bother with the hassle of low margin matchday fans
  19. Yep. I’ve had McDonald’s chips in countless countries. Especially in Europe where the cuisine is bland, boring and tasteless anyway. Woohoo more food cooked in the oven with salt!!!!! Not like you’re missing much
  20. 100% agree. I hate needles. They’re my only fear in life. Would prefer a plane full of spiders and snakes whilst looking out at a huge height than a needle. So if I can give every 3 months, you defo can too. It’s quick and easy to book an appointment, the donation process takes about 30 mins max. The staff are always absolutely superbly nice, and you get loads of snacks and treated like a hero afterwards. My wife is a doctor and I hear about people dying in the uk because of a lack of available blood, which is madness. Donate!!!
  21. Haha, and there'll be people gassing on here looking for a ticket to Al-Wakrah away because they're 17 and know how to create a quality AI-generated atmosphere whilst I harp on about the good old days when we had nfc ticketing.
  22. Look around for a STH to buy you guest tickets. There is a de facto general sale, and it is very easy to do. Whilst LCFC do not offer general sale, we must shame them by using every available tactic to exploit the game that is in place right now. Would be well easy to set up an exchange where you list a pool of STHs on here and then vetted people come on and buy single match tickets from them, with the price of the tickets held on their cards. Given that dude got banned for saying 'cancer' on this forum I guess it won't happen here LOL but it is easily possible.
  23. Hahahahah, I agree!!! Clubs like Man city, Man u, Leeds, Liverpool etc 22 year old away fans arrive with only quarter full drip trays, brand new trackies and phones full of battery. Their old people are always drunk. Why is it in our fanbase our 17-25 year old away fans are especially 'special' with full drip trays and dead phones after filming all the sceeeenes? Why aren't our OAP fans as drunk and a 20 pack of B&H down?
  24. Why do you wanna go then
  25. I have been to whelans, farriers arms, foresters and blue anchor on a non matchday. Wow is the only word. Very funny that from those pubs you're in spitting distance of the Bermondsey beer mile,. Where you can delight in a £7.67 3/5 pint of smoked cask ready beer flavoured liquid gel in a individually curated fortified plastic liquid holder sat in a bamboo refined sealed deck chair whilst taking in the atmosphere of urban London life in land specially designated for stationery moving vehicles
