I'm not sure the manager has any other way of playing. It seems to be get the ball to the wingers and push players s forward. We need more tactical nous to break teams down. It is early days and our players aren't as good as last time either. With our players we should be the team trying to play counter attack.

If we play Soumare and Skipp and the youngsters take too long to adapt then yes. We must get in a couple of players with the right character otherwise we're in trouble. Playing players in the last year of their contract is a recipe for disaster. They don't want to get injured and know that the club doesn't want them so they're just biding their time till the end of the season. Any player not wanting to sign a new contract or isn't good enough should be sold as they enter the last 2 years of their contract. Should be a club rule. All we have is players that don't want to be here leaving for nothing.

This is where the right manager can bring everything together. I'm not sure it's possible but I hope Cifuentes can do it.

I have to say that I find grok to be the most trustworthy AI despite all the noise about it. I often ask different AI the same thing and Grok is the least baised. Especially on current affairs.

The real problem is why are so many players perceived to be not arsed with the club. If it's so many players then maybe the problem isn't the players.
