  1. Well Souttar and Coady did come in for one off games and bar the disastrous showing at Sheffield Wednesday where no one played well - neither did badly. Vestegaard was one of the players of the season but Enzo's the first to remind us how tired everyone is. At one point Nelson was favoured to Coady. If Coady was just performing that badly in training then fair enough but he never gave off the impression he was. The Bournemouth game was sandwiched in between the start of our abysmal run if I remember right and Coady was class in that.
  2. I can't help but think those who just think because we won the league that Enzo is beyond any criticism, or scoff at those that think we have a better chance without him are the same who enabled Brendan Rodgers for as long as he got. We're even seeing history repeating itself with him trying to get more power through boasting all this apparent interest. Do not let the ineptitude of Top, Whelan and Rudkin fool you into thinking we should start handing the power to a manager who's made as many mistakes as Enzo has one year in. We made that mistake with a much more experienced manager in Rodgers and he ran us into the ground.
  3. You'd hope in any decent, well functioning setup they'd be the discussion of tactics and players at interview stage. I'm not suggesting anything like Mandaric dictating who starts scenario, but you have a vested interest in players not becoming worthless. I genuinely think discussions went as a far as - Top wants us to play like Pep, Enzo's just been at Man City and he's bald. That'll do. I get that some players just aren't in form or fall out of favour along the way - but in this case we had all but a couple of our wing backs rendered worthless and even a player they'd just given a 60k a week contract to barely played. This argument Vestegaard was just so good is bollocks to me. There were so many games we'd have got away with rotating Coady in but Maresca was too bothered about sending a message back to the board. You don't put 2 goalkeepers on the bench through anything other than petulance.
  4. Your display picture gets me every time 😂
  5. We need all the help we can get. You won't be feeling sorry for them when they prop us up 😂
  6. Some great prizes, and a coffee voucher.
  7. Can't help but feel like this is the highest his stock will ever be. Very similar to the situation we had with Thomas when he was playing every week and linked to West Ham. But I also think this is just his agent trying to get him a new deal with us rather than any proper interest.
  8. I refuse to believe he couldn't have played a much bigger part last season and it's on a long list of bizarre decisions for me from Enzo. When he played a game like Stoke at home we didn't see any less possession or playing from the back. To just disregard him and not even consider him for the lesser games, then complain about tiredness. Mad. The club can't be too happy to have seen so many players depreciate in value just because of a refusal to acknowledge them either.
  9. You could quite easily arrange something for all the former title winners and it'd sell out. There's plenty of charity games. Like others have said though, our club is only bothered about King Power and we have only not been as bothered about that because of success.
  10. We don't mention that day
  11. Forest had one for making the Carabao Cup semis 😂
  12. We're in agreement on what Guillem is and I think the general consensus from us all is we don't want to hear from him again. Hopefully that's been listened to. I think he is seen as a bigger name than they usually do get on local radio. Just about anyone who's had a 2 month loan spell with us in the last 30 years qualifies for co Comms. I think Matt Piper himself said when he listened to the first interview back he wasn't happy that he didn't challenge Guillem enough on what was being said. The best thing Enzo can do is ditch the link to Guillem professionally. It'll look beyond tedious next season when we aren't winning most weeks.
  13. Bit harsh on Owynn. Think he's done a good job under circumstances. Started off too much of a Stringer prototype but he comes across well and he asks a lot of good questions. The pandering to Guillem was way too much in both interviews but guess it's the price you pay to have a "big name" interview. It's all in the ground work for Enzo to relay his message to local radio though. Brendan's tactics were more to get them onside personally by pretending to befriend them all. Enzo is just using Guillem as a mouthpiece.
  14. Very happy with those two. Let's just hope we **** FBS off the training stuff now.
  15. Unfortunately after that - I predict they'll win the play offs
  16. If my grandmother had wheels she would be a bike
  17. You said do do
  18. I think we'd have thought that about Rodgers after a year. Look where that left us. I've got no doubt Rodgers realised very quickly that having someone like Rudkin who was so far out of his depth meant he could dictate everything to him and he'd go along with it. Even if I thought Enzo was a genius, it's never a good idea to let a manager have that much power over everything. They are gone too quickly and just like Rodgers - Enzo's main priority is himself.
  19. I should take lead on this tbh. Too many hot heads around
  20. I'm sure he wants to stay but he's sure as hell using the apparent interest to dictate terms to the club. I've noticed how the last interview was all "there is absolutely no plan B and this is how he plays" to "of course he'll change things up a bit against better teams" He had such a so what attitude last time when Matt Piper said Vestegaard in a high line Vs Chelsea was wrong. It was like well that's how Enzo plays thats it. Now we have lost 1-0 to Millwall, Plymouth and Bristol City and it's suddenly a realisation that actually yeah you do need to adapt.
  21. I thought the first 10-15 minutes of the interview were much better than last time. Matt Piper joked about being scared of Guillem last time and I love Piper so I didn't say that on here, but he definitely gave Enzo rightful criticism this time. Guillem though. My word. You have to ask yourself if Enzo is as good as he says and is so sought after why he feels the need to do this role he's doing for him? It comes across as slimy and a way of almost forcing his demands above the clubs best interests. There was a lot of "it's nothing like Brendan" from the three of them but I'm getting massive Brendan vibes from it. It's genuinely quite staggering how much the narrative can change because of a couple of wins. No one is more happy than me we achieved what we did but don't take Leicester fans or any football fans for fools. We know what we watch. We aren't knuckle dragging, brain dead morons who just want a return to the good old days. We are very patient, we have given him more than enough of that. But don't piss on our shoes and call it rain. We can see there's been absolutely appalling errors in management and absolute stubbornness this season. To just gloss it all over now and say if you want Europe stick with him, if not maybe you should realise why you ended up in the Championship? Nah that don't wash with me mate. Like a used car salesman, and not a very good one.
  22. Sorry but the parade stuff just cemented his legendary status in my opinion. Admittedly that might say more about me.
  23. Did he sign Hume as well?
  24. 😂 They put up a "RECORD HOME ATTENDANCE" on the big screen because they managed 30k thanks to Leeds bumping it up by 5.500 Would be more like 60% without the help of that massive allocation they give. Seeing their support called class every week now makes me laugh. They've had ****ing abysmal support for decades.
  25. A lot of how they have operated was with the worst case scenario simply not a possibility. Until then it actually happened. The new contract would have been because of the likes of Tottenham already sniffing around him and probably a bigger compensation for us when the "inevitable" poach did happen.
