  1. 14k ish rings a bell
  2. I Don’t know when counting tickets sold or allocated became common practice. The Boro game was nearly 13 years ago. That 8k official attendance figure looked exaggerated,so you could say even that was a lie.
  3. Might not have known it at the time but there were real characters in that squad.
  4. Majority of fanbase thought we were better than Wilder
  5. You could argue that Leicester did just this in 94/95.
  6. The discussion has gone from delayed payments and no smoke without fire etc To having the luxury of skipping promotion for a season or three as a viable option.
  7. The only Little Britain sketch I found funny
  8. Rapidly heading into Gary Monk territory.
  9. If they have sold or at least allocated the seats then they are not lying.Every club does this for a variety of reasons.Read somewhere that the caterers need too know etc. You can see how many tickets have been sold/allocated by looking at the stadium map when booking. I would be concerned by the near 20% no show every week if I was running the show
  10. Nowadays you need an adult to buy an e-ticket and accompany you at all times
  11. Wondering how this works? We are told that the club is worth £380M (Yeah right)No one in their right mind pays that.I would still imagine that Top boy will hold out for as much as he can get if he decides to sell. The whole process could go on for weeks and months as he negotiates with potential buyers.Meanwhile it’s likely that the funding of the day to day stuff will fall of a cliff and things start getting neglected, if they havern’t already. So loads of pain for any potential gain which is still a bit of a gamble as we may end up with a blood sucker. My understanding is that the Sheffield Wed guy held out for too long because he wanted to recoupe as much of his investment as possible and Leicester may end up in a similar position.
  12. The last Friday before Xmas is always a bit tasty. That’s why it’s called mad Friday.
  13. The finanicial advantage can be a bit of a two way street.Makes the stakes so much higher. The teams you mention don’t have so much competition either.
  14. Thanks So in theory the owner can inject funds punishment free? How do they calculate income. Is it over the previous season or rolling seasons? I can find all this out myself of course. It’s just that i can’t think of another team that has gone on such a financial nose dive as Leicester have and ended up in League 1 since PSR has been introduced.Wrexham and Birmingham obviously had funds but clean slates.
  15. I asked this question an hour ago.I don’t know what effect the rolling PSR distaster seasons would have on a season or two in league one,and would the owner be able to get the cheque book out again?
  16. Which is the way for Gtr London to go as I can’t see it expanding any further except for maybe the marshlands out east. What I do find a tad wasteful is the amount of 4 bed 15 toilet type new build plots being built that are likely going to see long periods of their lifespan only having one or two occupants living in them, and might be difficult to shift in a generation or three. But then that’s where the short term money is I suppose.
  17. Not wrong there. It reminds me of Gotham City.Might not be to everyone’s taste but certainly a massive transformation
  18. Gtr London is ever increasingly going skywards.
  19. How does relegation to the third tier work with PSR ? Can the owner open the cheque book again ? Will that just mean getting clobbered when returning to the Championship?
  20. I thought it was a well known fact that attendances are stated as tickets sold? Looks no more than 22k at the start and about 8k at the end. The Boro crowd a couple of games ago would fit into old Filbo with loads of spare seats.
  21. You can produce polls all you want.Deep down few really care anymore.October the 7th did it for Ukraine. It changed the direction.Took much of the attention away and made so many people look utterly foolish. If there’s anything that makes Labour and Conservative look like two cheeks of the same backside, it’s foreign policy.A foreign policy that has led to so many of our current issues.Including the handling of Ukraine and also Russia since the fall of the USSR.
  22. Clubs up and down the FL do kids for a quid and similar offers already.I’m sure Leicester City will do the same once demand drops.Just like we did in the past It’s not like the old days when groups of school age mates could just rock up.Now you have to be accompanied by an adult.Which makes filling the empty seats a bit more fiddly
  23. I think this is a fair result. At least there is a glimmer of hope for ambitious clubs going forward.Really pleased for York.Great fans btw.Good to have two teams from France.Bradford are a top flight club. London really need to get a couple of Championship dominating seasons under their belt. They need to start winning games at home far more consistently.Which they haven’t for several seasons now.Including when they last went up.That will help grow the crowds. The new owners look like they mean business so we shall see. Oldham will be knocking on the door and only a matter of time before we see a newly formed amalgamated Greater Manchester team.(Salford/Swinton.)
  24. Well no.What made up a large part of the Brexit arguement then ?I If Swedes started arriving enmass on these shores and became direct competition for jobs and sevices then Farages voter base would strongly object. The colour thing is mainly anti Islam Fed by successive goverments, the media and thousands of platforms like this one.You often post anti Islam stuff yourself and get away with it
