Them empty seats are getting more noticeable

There was only ever a certain amount of mileage in the Leicester City fairytale.I think it’s forgotten how much winning the league took out the squad physically and emotionally. The disrupted pre season The influx of new players losing Kante etc..Plus the fact that we had to fight on two fronts. We broke the transfer record three times that summer. Anyway the club did reset and I think it was you who posted the other day that five years ago before the Xmas maulings v Man City and Liverpool we looked good for another crack at the title.I fully agree. That autumn 2019 period was the best football I had seen Leicester play.I thought 2nd would look good on the CV

Yet at least two of the biggest 2016 purchases had been extensively scouted by the same team who had previously had so much success. We then went in and got Silva a year later.Pound for pound Leicester City’s worst ever signing.I even remember reading that we had offered 50 million euros for a Slim Silva double swoop a couple of days before the window shut.

Ex Players - They used to play for us

Big Ian Ormondroyd was on the football league highlights show on Saturday. Aged quite well (He’s past 60 now) He does something to do with working with the community. -
Well apart from the obvious legalities it’s way too late now for such drastic action. The cash flows from top down.I’m presuming you would want the other 14 clubs to go back into the football league?I would expect most clubs to go into administration.Funding for youth football at all levels to be cut.Women’s teams to be disbanded and an overall drop in standards across the board. With the greatly reduced TV contracts, ticket sales would be more important than ever to make up for any shortfall.Admission for some National League games is already over 20 quid. Not even mentioned how many owners would just jack.

I thought the whole point of having Christmas on the 25th was to cheer ye folk up when winter was at its darkest? Besides when all the fuss is over, the days are noticeably drawing out.

Reading the solar panel advise thread earlier.Reasons for getting solar panels 1 Good investment 2 Protection against current and future energy price spikes 3 Lower monthly bills saving £££££ Only one poster has directly mentioned benefits to the environment (Free Falling Foxes) I have no doubt that individual carbon footprint comes into play somewhere, but let’s no kid ourselves hey.

Should correct myself. The Nestle crunch bar shrunk by a quarter of it’s original size.Things ain’t that bad yet lol. Petrol 1.27 over in east anglia when I’ve been over there recently. Not bad.
-
Yes. I have noticed 20 pence on this and 50 pence on that in the last month. With another round of the usual shrinkage.Meat and chocolate etc.The Nestle crunch bar which I’m told is the most unethical thing money can buy (Can’t resist them)Only sold in certain corner shops these days for some reason, sum up the last few years.Gone up 50% changed wrapper and a quarter of the original size!!! I think it only takes a couple of wayward missiles to hit the wrong things and we are in a real pickle again,

The Co-Ops a funny one.Their older stores have limited selection and are relatively expensive. They remind me of shopping in the 1980s,decor and variety wise. Yet the stores they have on A road service stations are excellent.Along with their newer shops on new build developments.

Realistic managerial replacements?
Heathrow fox replied to Happy Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Remind me are we talking September 2022 time and that horrendous start? No way he comes to a very openly skint LCFC when all he had to do was wait a month or two for a better opportunity.Which it duly did -

I think someone of Emerys class and experience would look at the Leicester job and conclude we were an elephant up a tree. -
I think the KP has always looked more pleasing on the eye.The brick work cladding and general colour scheme is far superior

The Championship has looked incredibly competitive this season. It’s a shame that York couldn’t make the final.I think I’ll start following them if London go off the cliff LB need.to raise £350000 before Xmas to put a squad together.Followed by an extra £650000 to get them through the season and hire Plough Lane. The handful of posters on their fans forum (Who make Foxes Talk seem like a bastion of positivity btw)Think this is pie in the sky stuff. The really good news is that Eccles is staying despite of all the off field stuff that’s gone on.The players gave their all last season. They look like a united happy camp.Up there with the PL 15/16 squad. In return for their efforts they have been rewarded with good moves and/or retirement knowing they got to play in the SLWell deserved The one’s who have committed themselves (Not signed) to next season are the one’s who are happy to play PT.Lewis Bienek who could easily do a job in SL has said he’ll hang up his boots if there is no club to play for. He’s got a decent day job that he enjoys. I’m glad Goole have entered.Did read that Bedford are trying to get something together. They have a ladies team. The area is a bit of a rugby hotbed
-
Some positive sounds from the London Bronco’s.They aim to carry on and not only that but continue to use Plough Lane.Bouyed by an expected boost to their grading score it seems.Still a very precarious few months ahead and outside investment is required as a matter of urgency. Most fans were expecting the club to be gone before the clocks go back.

A team in the Surrey County Premier League worth keeping an eye on.They are called Dial Square and are on course for their forth straight promotion. They have signed a ground share agreement for use of step 3 Chertsey Towns Alwyns Lane ground until 2027.I’ve watched them twice this year.A club on the up. I never knew that Dial Square was Arsenal’s original name even before the Woolwich bit.

This team will huff and puff to get somewhere in the region of 25/30 points. -
What a cracking movie One day I’ll read the book

It’s pie in the sky stuff. We get the thousands of new driving instructors required from the same factory that makes all the extra police doctors and nurses etc etc
