Fans have to let Dennis Wise and Peter Taylor go now.Just let it go We would still be in a mess if Tops Dad was still alive Champions League would have financially ruined us.

Filbert Street or the King Power Stadium
Heathrow fox replied to dayday's topic in Leicester City Forum
The east stand, popular side or cow shed had a great view and while being really close to the pitch. As a piece of footballing architecture, the Carling stand was a work of art.Such a shame we couldn’t take it with us.Would be a huge upgrade on most grounds main stands even though it was built in the nineties. It would have aged well unlike the Brian Clough stand for example -

The more this mess continues the more I doubt that RVN bothered to do any research on the club before joining.I find that very alarming. -
I would be very suspicious of anyone who wanted the job at this stage.Really can’t think of a more timidly fought relegation battle in at least half a century.

How do you define a club legend?
Heathrow fox replied to Torquay Gunner's topic in Leicester City Forum
We won’t know until foxestalk 2075 how many of the names mentioned in recent history, stand the test of time. Not counting Vardy. -
Only going on personal experience and having done zero research,I don’t think the traffic is any worse than 25/30 years ago.If anything, changed working habits, better navigational tools and wider motorways have made things slightly better.

The phrase football ULTRA boils my piss.To me a football ultra is someone who never misses a game.Including the women’s reserves away at Accrington.Has the club badge on every piece of crockery.Papers the walls with Jamie Vardy and Marc Albrighton posters and goes to bed in Leicester City pyjamas

About three years ago the traffic cops said they were going to come down hard on the hoggers.I think a few drivers were made an example of but other than that?? The matrix signs often say stay in the left lane unless overtaking.

League One & Two - 2024/25 season

Miles Leaburn is rapidly becoming a 2020s version of his dad.Easily got enough to play top of the Championship -
I think his agent would point out that 60k a week is average for a PL player. So 70/80k for a 25M signing ithat plays striker is to be expected. If you don’t like it someone else will

Best Christmas Presents You Remember Getting
Heathrow fox replied to Parafox's topic in General Chat
The Gower/Botham edition was the one I got mid eighties. My dad invented the under the lights 100 version of the game using the subbuteo flloodlights he got me the year before. You could really hit the ball with some power, unlike the modern version.Arguably more fun playing this than Subbuteo. -

I think the mechanic hits the nail on the head

Genuinely hope that continues and should point out that away matches are different.

The whole stadium is wrong. It’s a soulless bowl that’s basically a wrap round family stand. The best thing about Filbert Street was that each stand or area catered for the different kind of fan. There were arguably 9/10 areas to pick from. But don’t be fooled by the rose tinted spectacle wearers. The Pens during the eighties were often out sung by the away contingent. At times there was more noise during the build up to kickoff and not many more than a couple of hundred at the back joining in.

Expecting 50/60 year olds to start singing and chanting at home games is never going to happen.Apart from the fact that it would be the most Leicester Leicester Ra Ra Ra thing imaginable (Hardly intimidating)Most have grown up by this age.
