Couldn’t trap a bag of cement!
  2. I only watch blue and white, if I want to see the so called super stars of the premier I’ll do it on tv. I do want to watch City win more than they lose in a league that they can compete in, and it ain’t this one. I’ll look forward to watching us against WBA, Sunderland et al, (proper clubs) next season, maybe Wrexham too? The gap is so massive and it’s sad that the likes of Bournemouth , Brentford and Brighton have now pulled up the ladder on HMS premier, 18 teams in the Championship are capable of being bigger, are bigger but won’t have a chance now thanks to PSR and money. The sooner the tv money goes pop and the so called big boys go to a super league the better.
  3. It’s still fresh and new for Florist at the minute, comparable (almost) with our title season after the great escape. Every home game was the equal of their home games at least. Remember the Richter scale equaliser? We have nothing to get us off our seats at the minute and football has been sterilised by Puel, Rodgers and Maresca even during success, the atmosphere at 4th place Chelsea a case in point.
  4. It was a start, but VK and JJ as wing backs? Come on, neither of them got past the halfway line. The last time we played 3-5-2 well was under MON, he didn’t have grafting fullbacks as wing backs he had Guppy and Impey, both out and out wide men! Neither as I recall got their shorts dirty, they tucked in now and then but their starting position was the halfway line, leaving Taggert Elliott and Walsh to deal with defensive matters. And guess what, we fizzed the ball into the box from both sides creating chances that Vardy can only dream about at the minute. The problem is modern coaches are too worried about losing to actually try and win!
  5. We don’t create chances, end of.
  6. I agree, but it absolutely wasn’t fun, unless you’re referring to most of the seasons pre the last relegation.
  7. Alleluia! A coach who looks for another way! This is the only way so poor are we.
  8. Absolutely. Take that you sheep favouring rotters! Or words to that effect!!
  9. Yes remember how boring their end was no balloons etc. We showed that you don’t have to play football to win a match, something your modern day coaches struggle to comprehend!
  10. I agree with all of this. I remember walking back to the car after the play off final when we beat them ( god knows how when you see our team ) and many Derby fans congratulated us on the walk back, quite surprised me actually.
  11. Even Hirst improves this lot!!
  12. I was exaggerating! But a lot a week!
  13. Pay his Dad 70k to cut the grass? No more corrupt than Chelsea selling hotels etc.
  14. So we can’t spend and buy players due to PSR, and we can’t breed our own quality as they are poached by the big boys. Man they’ve really sewn it up now, and I for one cannot wait to get out of this corrupt league. The sooner they p**s off to a European super league the better.
  15. No need to ask, it’ll be frozen with the caveat , you’re lucky it’s more games next year.
  16. And if he’d gone to Arsenal either of the last three seasons they’d have won the league at least twice.
  17. Thought he was our best player tonight……. Which shows how dreadful it was ‘cos he can’t play!
  18. McLintock was worst, even the average age!!!!
  19. He’s been pressing on his own for 3 years now, and he’s probably given up! Told not to tonight though you can tell.
  20. Me too mate, just said Lenny would shake them up and make them runabout a bit!
  21. The great Martin O’Neill used to say football is about those who pay and those who play.
  22. Yeah alright, I was there as well, must’ve nodded off, but generally better than under Rogers?
  23. Definitely right about attacking, but I think we’ve massively improved defending them, Arsenal being a case in point? Under Brendan, corner = Goal. Mind you all these so called coaches/ managers we’ve had and only Ranieri left a couple up to make the opposition leave three back (occasionally).Does my head in every week, every season.
  24. We need to drop the style we play currently, though it may get us back up the sub standard players can’t play that way in this league. I’ve seen Orient, Plymouth, and even Tamworth put up a better fight against prem teams. Brentford reminded me of our O’Neill era, three big lumps at the back saying come on cross it and we’ll eat it up. Aggression and fight .
