Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Yes, a certain George Armstrong right winger comes to mind, gray haired and gray beard, looked older than me now! And I’m mid sixties! -
LCFC 0-2 Fulham, post match thread
ceebeefox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
In yet I’d have driven him to Fulham myself. -
Times two!
-
Pick on the winger, it was always thus. Mind you he’s not good enough, but walks into this team, says it all. Oh for Demari Gray!
-
He’s not been good, quality players around him at Spurs made him look good when he played or came on for them. Will probably shine in the muck and bullets next season.

Yeah but he moved to a 4-4-2 and in that system you need stronger central midfielders, Goodnight and BEK are not that. The problem is although it allowed two up top, the midfielders we have aren’t good enough for that and we only have one winger at the club at the minute fit, and he’s not good enough either! We’re down and I look forward to playing in a league we will compete in, would hate to be a Palace every week clinging on to the league losing more than your winning, boring. -
Commentator is Fletcher, Forest fan!

How do you define a club legend?
ceebeefox replied to Torquay Gunner's topic in Leicester City Forum
Agree with this, but we wouldn’t have won the league without Kante, massive influence, so all league winners, legends. -
I agree about playing youth players, but fail to see who’ll want half of this squad? Mads, BEK and maybe Winks, who else?

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round (11th Jan, 2pm)
ceebeefox replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
They’ll rest players too, tough relegation battle for both of us and they play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday. -
I like Weghorst, think he’d be great down here, also mirroring the title winning team, 4-4-1-1 with Celtic player Maida behind Vardy ala Shinji.

I don’t see that, and we only have two that would attract offers. Transfer embargo I guess would mean the likes of Macateer playing again but he shone in the championship. PSR has done for us as a premier outfit ( obviously poor recruitment and pay structure by us) , that league is a best of the world league, the championship is miles apart. Sheff Utd were far worse than us last season and are up there, in fact two of the relegated teams last year are. We ain’t doing a Luton. -

-10 points and we still make the playoffs. The gap is massive and only Mads and maybe Winks would attract offers. -
He’s fromShepshed, we’re his boyhood club, he may be a United fan but we’re his club.

The year we won the league, once we’d played everyone once I said to my son we’re the best team in this and we’ll win it if we don’t bottle it. Using that analogy, we’re struggling. Yesterday’s performance however gave me hope, but I keep asking myself, if not us then who? It’ll need a window where we sign at least 2 that walk into the team and make a difference against the Brentford’s, Wolves, Fulham’s etc.
-
Yeah I know but all good enough for championship promotion push.
-
The only three anyone will want are who you’ve mentioned, which is probably why we bounce back up!
-
Branting Hill?
-
He’s from Groby.

I thought we did a lot more than huffing and puffing today. We grew into the game and made most of the running second half. We had quality today and we’re deserving of a point at least. As for quality, I’ve doubted too all season but this and the Anfield game has made me rethink, only Mavadidi and the two full backs lacked a bit today and for the first time this season we looked like a premier league outfit.

El Kanouss seems sharp, certainly when he closes down ( or should I say presses).
-
Survive? I’d argue we’d make the playoffs with -9, and I’m pessimistic.

Can anyone explain what the EFL have on us re punishment? Did the sale of KDH and Enzo money within that financial year exonerate us from EFL hit or is it more historical? it seems folk on here know it to be a certainty, is it?

Settle a Centre Back Argument For Me
ceebeefox replied to Manwell Pablo's topic in Leicester City Forum
Those booming Elliot diags would be welcome now. Our centre halves daren’t ping it.
