PSR has done for us as a premier outfit ( obviously poor recruitment and pay structure by us) , that league is a best of the world league, the championship is miles apart. Sheff Utd were far worse than us last season and are up there, in fact two of the relegated teams last year are. We ain’t doing a Luton.

The year we won the league, once we’d played everyone once I said to my son we’re the best team in this and we’ll win it if we don’t bottle it. Using that analogy, we’re struggling. Yesterday’s performance however gave me hope, but I keep asking myself, if not us then who? I thought we did a lot more than huffing and puffing today. We grew into the game and made most of the running second half. We had quality today and we’re deserving of a point at least. As for quality, I’ve doubted too all season but this and the Anfield game has made me rethink, only Mavadidi and the two full backs lacked a bit today and for the first time this season we looked like a premier league outfit.

El Kanouss seems sharp, certainly when he closes down ( or should I say presses).
